I walked in and could tell that this Golden Corral was different from the others I’d been to. Soon after sitting down the owner introduced himself and explained that while the business had to be completely closed for the early Covid days he kept his employees that wanted to help remodel the restaurant. They did a wonderful job. And now they are back open and doing an amazing job of food preparation and keeping the place extremely clean. The staff go about their jobs with smiles on their faces. This is my go to place now in Evansville.

A typical Golden Corral, but the service was lacking. The employees looked as if they hated working here and took about 15 minutes to get our drink orders. However, I understand that the restaurant is busy and that there are other people to take care of.

The meatloaf use to be very good, however the last two times I have gotten it, it was mushy and little flavor. They have definitely changed their recipie or started buying pre-cooked. Either way, they need to go back to the way it was. Customers take note when food quality goes down while the prices go up.

Usually this place is a decent place to eat ,but our most recent trip left alpt to be desired. 1st the cashier over charged us for 1 adult and 1 child with water to drink cost me $34 at lunch time, then we made our plate and couldn’t hardly eat it because something had the most foul smell we almost gagged.

Food was okay, but the service wasn’t. We got our plates made and they gave our table away to someone else and we had to stand around with our food for awhile till they found us somewhere else to sit. I went the whole time without a refill till I got up an went to go refill my cup myself an finally got a refill.

Had to walk through en employee’s cloud of cigarette smoke to get in the front door. Older man sitting right in the sidewalk with another man dead smack in front of the door. Can’t employees go out back or something? Pretty sure there’s a law against smoking right by the door also Golden Corral.
