The Punisher
Haven’t visited since pre-covid. I was pleasantly surprised with the food quality and service. As always, a variety of creating your own salad options, main dishes, sides and dessert. Price per person was decent for a family of 4 when compared to a fast food meal price.

Lots of classic American food (steak, mac and cheese, pizza, etc.) but not much else in terms of ethnic food variety. Worth the price though if you want something that the whole group can be satisfied with, especially if you go for the lunch prices. However, I was a bit worried with health precautions with the food. Even though a mask is required, many people by the food did not have their masks on or they were improperly put on. I saw a woman coughing directly over the green beans. Overall, it wasn’t very clean. Other than that, the staff were very sweet and helpful. Good place to go for a lot of food.

About $20 (not including tip) for Friday night dinner. Pretty standard American buffet fare. Everything that was supposed to be hot was hot, and everything that was supposed to be cold was cold. My med-rare steak was hard to eat, but guess what, it’s a buffet, so when something isn’t right, you get to spin the wheel again. Medium steak was perfect. Popcorn shrimp was killer. Ribs. Fell. Off. The. Bone. Compliments to the grill master. My advice would be to go earlier than 6:30. When things ran out, they didn’t get replaced. So no carrot cake (my favorite dessert). Thankfully there were dozens of other tasty desserts to choose from. You’re not going to leave hungry. This was my first time at a Golden Corral, and I wasn’t disappointed. It reminds me of Ryan’s Steakhouse, back when those were a thing. I would absolutely return. But it’s going to take me a few weeks to get out of this food coma first!

They have roaches!!! Was just there Saturday (7/29/23). Just as we went up, there was 1 crawling in the Mac & cheese! We mentioned it to the staff & 1 of the waitresses had this smirk as she looked at her co-worker as if to say see! The manager refunded us immediately. I’ve reported it to the health department. Also, we checked in at 11:40 am, & they initially charged us for dinner! Ridiculous! Absolutely disgusting!

I love the Golden corral I have been to 3 different ones in the last couple of months this one is pretty good. Got a chance to see the manager as he greeted us. The waitress was fairly good kept cleaning tables. The food was great. I would recommend this.
