Apparently All Golden Corrals are not Created Equal…driving through Springfield and opted to stop in to eat here. We will not be back. We love Golden Corral. The staff was very friendly and accommodating but the food was Blah…nothing really tasted that great. There were a couple of heat lamps were out so that good was not very warm. Usually the salad is my favorite. It was ok but again not great. The steak had a “greyish” color to it and didn’t taste bad but not a good quality steak at all. One piece of fish I got (pictured) do not appear to be done. This is one of the things not under a heat lamp. Food had not been tended too. Things needed to be stirred. We won’t give up Golden Corral. Most of them we go to are great but won’t be back to this one.

It was slightly over $21 for a buffet and drink. Not totally unreasonable if you get a great selection. The selection wasn’t bad but some in our group reported several items they usually get were not available this visit. The servers were polite and helpful but not really plentiful. I think they need more staff. The food was mostly good. I didn’t find anything I didn’t fine edible certainly. We had a nice time there but they could use to turn down the A/C a little more in this extreme heat.

The food was WAY better than I remember from last time. The service, as usual, was excellent! However, I’m only giving them a 2 for atmosphere. Not because the place wasn’t clean (IT WAS!) or the tables weren’t bussed (THEY WERE!), but because the dining area was just a tad too warm. They would be smart to install some ceiling fans or turn the thermostat down just a couple of degrees. Other than that, we were pretty happy with our visit.

No need to get a filled drink as u come in, slowed the line. However good salad bar, lots of food choices. Ham turkey, pork, mash potatoes, fries, mac and cheese, corn, green beans, steak, pizza. And lots of HOT yeast rolls and brown gravy. Deserts for days, cake, pies, and ice cream. No real long wait to the bars, and super busy, but didnt feel like it. Staff is on it and even thanksgiving was on point!

Spending 80 bucks you expect a certain cleanliness out of a business would be my first complaint. The vents/ceilings alone were in need of a major cleaning for gosh knows how long. The floors were very sticky and also looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in awhile. Some food was too cold and should of been warmer then it was. The only decent food they had and was a good temperature was the steak. The waitress was very good about checking in on us and making sure we didn’t need anything.

Been to this location several times throughout the years. Never had a really bad meal there like some of these people were talking about and reviews. This was the first time we went for lunch and the price was very reasonable. They did’nt have steak I normally don’t go to Golden corral or steak. The ice cream machine did not work but that’s all right me I’d I’m a diabetic.

Used to be good but they are a rip off now. I get inflation makes prices go up. They raised their prices from 7.99 to 11.99 for a normal buffet. We come up to the north side for Thanksgiving because our turkey didn’t thaw in time. We go in expecting our family of 5 to be around 50 sum with 3 adults and 2 kids. We were shocked to get the bill of 89 dollars. I complained that the prices up above stated otherwise and the guy up front responded with there is a big sign up front. Sure enough there is a sign but it is 1 not big and 2 it’s turned in away that you won’t see it unless your leaving. This is price gouging on a holiday that most businesses are giving discounts for black Friday. What a way to say happy Thanksgiving. Happy Thanksgiving now pay out the but.
