After a long day of driving, thought I stop at one of my favorite spots from back home, but to my surprise this place is nothing like what I’m used too. First go in the restroom to wash up, it’s so dirty. Tissue on the floor. Floor was wet, 1 toilet still had urine in it.

I wouldn’t recommend this Golden Corral .We are from MS and had just finished traveling 8 hrs and was just looking for a good hot meal.We paid 41.20 for two. We arrived a little after 4:00 which was dinner time. The food was not fresh and we asked if they were gonna change the line and put up fresh food since we paid 16.99 for the dinner buffet…the manager which was a younger person that appeared to be only about 20 years old informed us that they change the line every 5 mins and I told him that’s not true. I advised him as I experienced cook I know what fresh fried chicken looks like. The chicken was old and the meat was hard. I told him that the fried fish was pink on the inside so it wasn’t done. I told him that the pot roast was old because it was tough and dark brown. He responded in Spanish and walked away . I stood there thinking he would come back but he never did. Our waiter name was Jennifer and it she had to be fairly new because she forgot where we were seated and took her almost 20 min to come back and then when she did bring the drinks over it was warm sweet tea with only 3 pieces ice floating on top in a dirty cup. She never came back to our table. For 41.00 totalled we consumed a piece of steak a handful of popcorn shrimp and a serving of potatoes…. We informed the staff that we were not satisfied with the service and they did nothing to rectify it. They have a lot of young staff working their. We did take pictures of the food. We chose this location based off reviews but after being in there and seeing it was predominantly Hispanic I see where most of their reviews came from because a POC would have kept it on here and this waste of time and money would have been avoided.

DO NOT EAT HERE. I’m going to share our experience without any embellishments. When we walked in, there was nobody in line. The cashier never greeted us. Simply asked if we wanted drinks. Told us the price and gave us the receipt. No thank you. No customer appreciation. I went to get some fish and they did not have any. That is a main staple and they didn’t have any???? There were very few customers there!!! I went to the grill to request ham and there were no employees around. I waited for about a minute and left and got other food and then came back. There were still no employees around. Another man standing there spoke up trying to get help. But nobody came. Two employees finally showed themselves and looked at us and then turned around and did not help. One made eye contact with me and turned away. The man finally walked away. I walked over to the side and spoke up and asked for assistance. One lady made eye contact as she was eating a roll. She put it in her mouth and put some gloves on and came over to assist. She never said one word. She simply cut a big slice of ham and put it on my plate and turned around and walked off. Absolutely no customer service or appreciation at all. The plates were never removed from our table the entire time we were there. The plates on three other tables around us were never cleaned the entire time that we were there. They had very few customers there at that time, so I really don’t know what the employees were doing. I spoke to the manager and relayed everything that we had experienced and what a disappointment it was. I expressed that it was very doubtful that we would ever return to this golden corral again. She was pleasant and apologetic. She informed me that there was fish available. (Apparently she expected fish to always be available for the customers.) I informed her I had already looked three times and there was none. Then she came back and told me the fish would be available in five minutes. This is a Buffet and they should never run out of the main staple that people eat. Also, the flavor of the food was not the quality of what we have experienced at the Golden Corral that we normally go to in Grand Prairie on interstate 20. Also, the employees are very nice and I always leave them a tip. Of course I did not leave a tip here. Really, about the only thing that I can say about the food is that it filled us up. What a shame! Our son and his wife told us about a year ago that they would never go to this Golden Corral again because of their poor experience with employees there. Now I certainly understand why. I strongly suggest you find someplace else to eat. I had to write this review to hopefully save somebody else from the same experience.

This by far was the worst experience I have had with this chain. From check in the customer service was good. We were a party of 11, and wanted to sit together. We were told we could. We went to an area and was abruptly told it was closed.

My husband and I stopped by before I had to go to work. The server took a min to get out drinks. And we had two plates a each. One of my chicken things was pink pink. And the server never came to check on us or anything. I was very disappointed in that. She took care of all the Hispanic ppl around us. Al she didn’t even look our way. I felt like it was a racist thing. And lil did she know I’m half Hispanic my self. I will never go to this location agian. I will make to I will tell my family and friends

Staff is friendly, polite and hard working. They are on top of it and are speedy. They don’t get annoyed when you let them know something on the food line is low. The servers are on top of it as well. The tables are a bit too close to each other but other than that it was a nice visit. I was expecting chaos but it was surprisingly nice.

Staff was amazing! Our glasses were always full and our plates were cleared promptly! Our waitress even offered us coffee to go with our dessert! Super sweet! We loved the pot roast and veggies, fresh corn bread, steamed broccoli, cheesecake, carrot cake, warm cherry pie, crispy tacos, maccaroni, fried fish, mash potatoes and gravy, just to name a few!
