Food is decent with some minor discrepancies of them keeping the flies off the food. Waiters and Waitresses are phenomenon, quick and fast table preparation for the next meal. Only discrepancy is the environment, it’s an older building making it feel like dining into a 90s or earlier restaurant. A renovation for both interior and exterior needs to become a priority at some point in the near future.

Went for the first time in years. Barely anything fresh on the buffet. Wanted some eggs for my salad & there was none left except the frozen pieces on the bottom. Asked the lady who was behind the counter & she said there would not be anymore for the night. And to top it off the main thing I wanted was banana pudding. Nope…none. My kids use to love the chocolate fountain. That wasn’t even there anymore. Will not go back at all anymore.

The lady with pink hair up front who gave us our drinks was really rude. our server was really nice But the place is in really bad shape the area we were at was really Dirty there was really no food options. There was more salad and desert options than actual entrees. I paid $35 I think it’s safe to say it’s outrageous.

The staff was nice. Food was rushed and some items were undercooked. The cleanliness of the buffet line was poor. Lots of disorganized chaos at the front counter with drink orders. The AC is out, so it was extra hot. Overall, poor experience, would not recommend.

I had a to go plate picked up for me, the food was so bland and cold, the macaroni had no sauce, the meat loaf was mushy. I called to let the manager know , he didn’t give me his name but all he could say was “well you picked the food” ….that alone shows that he didn’t care about the actual food quality. I always go to the Temple TX location and I have NEVER had this problem . Just poor food quality and poor customer service

My husband and I went to Golden Coral this morning, and I tried to open the doors at 10:03. There was a disabled veteran next to me, and I offered to open the door for him. 4 people were standing behind me. When I opened the door, no one was at the cash register. We waited in the entry way for about 5 minutes, and then went to get someone to help.. The manager, Marco, accused me of breaking into the establishment. He said he heard it from his office. The five people including the veteran came to my defense. Informing the manager that I didn’t break in, and that he was absolutely lying. I went up to him, and told him that I was very upset about how I was treated, and that all I wanted was an apology. I said I don’t want a refund or money,I just want an apology. He said I will not give an apology. His staff at the front laughed and started recording me on their phone as we left and entered our cars. I don’t know if his staff is afraid of him and that is why they laughed or if they just don’t care about people. On my opinion Marco is not fit to be a manager.

The food is very good here. The lunch price is very reasonable. They had a new girl with only a day of training and she allowed someone to get ahead of me when I asked about carry out. By the time she was done visiting with her, the lunch rate expired. The manager said once the clock turned 4, it was out of his hands. That’s ok, Denny’s welcomed me with open arms.

The one I usually visit for lunch offers a good variety of food and has a good salad bar,for an all you can eat, if you’re hungry the price is better then some single meals from other restaurants. For a self served place other then getting your own drink I like it.

Took the grandblessing for a bite. Friendly cashier. I loved the patriotism board in the entry. It was extremely hot in the line, other customers and the staff were commenting on how uncomfortable it was. There wasn’t much variety. Only a few meat items for tacos, fried shrimp, some sausage, and salad meats. Not sure why it was so disheveled on the salad bar and buffet. There wasn’t a lot of people when we were in there, but maybe there had been. The waitress was kind and friendly, but we were trying to eat. She kept touching people at the tables and touching us… normally I’d think it’s just Texas friendly… but we were using gloves and masks? So, maybe this is another reason we cut our meal to just a few minutes and left. We paid for 1 Senior Veteran, 1 adult and 1 child. Overall, we love Golden Coral. Just wasn’t the best visit this time. Thank you very much for your service too.

It opens at 8 am on weekends. I came in around 8:10 am. The manager was rude telling me we’re not open yet. I asked do they open at 8am & he said again we’re not open yet & no one let you in. The doors were open. I left. I NEVER beg to give away my money. The negative reviews are spot on! The positives are fake & mostly likely written by people who work there & or their family & friends. Horrible customer service. STAY AWAY
