I like the food at Golden Corral. However, the take out price was too expensive. I was surprised, as I expected to pay between $15 and $18 for a full food container. I did not even fill my container and I paid $38 because they charge by food pound. The container was a decent regular size like many other places, not huge. The person at the front who took my order didn’t even tell me the price it would be per food pound and that they didn’t normally do “this” when they gave me the take out food plate and did not ask me to pay until I got the food. I’m not sure what they meant, and they were super busy so I did want to ask for details hoping it wouldn’t be too much money. However I researched their website before going and it did say take out available but no prices. When I go to HuHot Mongolian Grill for take out food, I never pay more than $15, and I fill the container to the very top. I even get a professor discount of about 15% on Wednesdays. Golden Corral would be great if they reduced the take out price to keep customers like me happy and going back for great food to take out, and recommending them to others. I will likely never go to Golden Corral again because I don’t eat much and I prefer take out food so I can make the most out of my hard earned money.

Me and my family enjoyed a wonderful evening. Of course it was loud and the restaurant was super full. But that’s what happens when you have good service and decent food. I have always loved Golden Corral and this was no different. Our waitress was absolutely wonderful and we didn’t have to wait long for a table for 7. Good place for families.

I am only sharing my experience with manager or assistant manager, not sure. Recently, I was part of a group of soccer families who came out to this restaurant to have a meal after a game. As we waited for the others people in the group to show up, we were told that a 20% tip would be imposed on our bill since there were more than 20 people in our group. We explained that each family would be paying individually. However, we were told that it was policy and that each family’s bill would automatically receive and additional 20% tipping fee to cover the bill. I don’t have a problem paying tips to food servers, on the contrary. I believe servers work hard for there tip but I frown on this “policy” because I see it as gouging. Maybe we would have left a 20% tip but that’s a customer’s decision. Maybe it wasn’t in the budget for some of the families. I just want to make large groups aware of this policy. Also, we decided not to stay and eat and probably wouldn’t return. Finally, as we found out soon after, this “policy” does not extend to all Golden Corral restaurants.

This is one of two golden corral restaurants that we visit in the Denver metro area. This one has good food and plenty of decent selections. Although the dining area is lacking. The dining area is looking dirty and a little run down.

Pretty bland food. Ok if you have a hangover maybe. Carrot cake looks like it was sat on and then cartwheeled on – probably still edible though if you like mashed cake.

We haven’t been to a Golden Corral in a few years and went last night for a small celebration, it was very busy and almost all the tables were full when we got there. However, the waiter brought our drinks and refills in a timely manner despite waiting on several tables at a time, and all of the food we ate was fresh and delicious. They’ve really stepped their game up with the food! I remember when we used to go many things would be dry, unseasoned or just plain nasty so we were happy to see the upgrade!

I travel across the country with a band. I usually find a Golden Corral at least once a week. I have been on the road for 25 years now, and I have never been in a Golden Corral this was this clean and organized. Food was fresh. The buffet bars were clean. The restaurant in general was clean. Definitely my favorite Golden Corral now.

It has been a while since we have gone here. The place was clean and the food was good. The steak was ok. They used to have thicker and juicier cuts but times change. They did have ribs and ham which was a nice addition. The server was courteous and came at the right frequency to clear plates and refill our drinks. I like shrimp and was surprised that they had both popcorn shrimp and quite large breaded shrimp.

Everything was fine. Until our “waitress” was rude. My niece threw up. And our “waitress” went up to her co workers and complained about it. Even as far as her looking back and nodding her head our way in front of us. After my niece threw up. She didn’t come to our table the remaining time. Never again.
