Love it here. If you’re there when it opens you get the best seat, it’s calm, you can take your time and enjoy your food. The crowd usually gets there before the lunch menu starts so it gets chaotic and I am usually ready to leave by then.

My son had a blast with the lovely mac and cheese and the pizza, which was a couple notches above the usual buffet pizza. For the grownups, you can’t go wrong with fried okra, decent steak, and a great salad bar. Both bathrooms could have used a major deep cleaning but over all we had an excellent time. Taj was a very attentive and friendly server, he could teach a class.

This place is in compared to the sizzler I guess except at the sizzler is much better place Golden corral is wonderful except that it’s so busy that the crowds are lined up outside in 180 degree weather with no on an overhead for their clients to stand under sweating to death no offer of water or anything and just aboot capitalized THEIR BATHROOM WAS SO DISGUSTING SO I FOUND A MANAGER AND HE JUST DIDN’T CARE HE DIDN’T CARE AT ALL BY ANY OF IT BE GO ROUND GUY TALL GUY BALD GUY HE DIDN’T DISGUSTING HOME OFFICE NEEDS TO KNOW THAT ANYWAY THE FOOD’S ALWAYS GOOD YOU KNOW THAT BUT THEY’RE JUST ALWAYS BACKED UP AND JUST TOO MANY PEOPLE THERE BUT BEING LINED UP OUTSIDE THE DOOR AND NOT PROVIDING AN AWNING FOR YOUR YOUR PEOPLE WHEN IT’S ARIZONA 118° IS RIDICULOUS OR EVEN JUST AN OFFER OF COLD WATER BUT NOPE NOTHING LIKE THAT HERE JUST YOUR STANDARD LONG LINE AND A HOT-AIR IS DESERT SUN THEY NEED A NEW STORE MANAGER THEY DEFINITELY NEED A NEW MANAGER THAT CARES WHAT THEY’RE DOING

The banana pudding is awesome. Pretty much all the food was good. I wish I could remember our server’s name. She was very attentive, so we tipped her well. We got in pretty quick even though the line was long when we got there. Not having spoons by the desserts (it stayed that way for a long time) and having no baked fish (it looked like pork chops where it was labeled to be) were the only issues I had.

Seems like people from all over the Valley have decided that this is the best Golden Corral to eat at. While it is crowded from the time it opens until closing, the staff manages to ensure that there is always enough fresh hot and cold food at the ready for the masses of hungry people who come to dine there.

Would rate less than one star if available…. WORST Golden Corral food (was a regular @Avondale and Surprise locations 15+years). Extremely disappointed, will NOT eat here again. Soup barely warm, hamburgers dry and cold. Popcorn shrimp cold, hard and tough. Afraid to eat pinkish (cold) bbq chicken thigh. Pot roast with potatoes /carrot good but not even warm. Pizza old and cold. Dessert table was great, but not a lot of choices @ first. Then they put out cherry pie, carrot cake, gummy bears, ice cream and brownies. Guess I was destined to get dessert for dinner! Manager said pink chicken fine to eat, that he would check his temps. No sorry, just excuses. Not fault of waitress…. If you drink water here, think about it first unless hose water tastes good to you. Picture of missing tile hole above our table, yuk!

Staff was really light, so it was hard to get drinks, but the waitress was kind, just very, very busy as she was doing half the resteraunt by herself. I’m not sure why they don’t have self-serve drinks in a self-service restaurant. We waited a solid 8 minutes for a front cashier to check us in. Food was edible and a wide variety… The bathrooms weren’t in great shape, but I’m sure it’s due to staffing.
