My relatives came into town and they’re vegan, so I decided to give this place a try! I placed a phone order for 3 dishes! All dishes I ordered were really good! Veggie fried rice, vegan lo mein and broccoli oyster dish! Took 10 mins to prep! Really nice worker.

Ordered Chicken Curry and barely 1/3 of the bowl is chicken, with a mountain of onion ontop and underneath. Also ordered some shrimp toast and it was burned but the middle was undercooked and mushy. When i called to order the lady answered with “what” and had an attitude while taking my order.

Bad customer service and bad food (chicken taste like rubber). Try to charge me for soy source/ hot sauce. Food taste really bad and NOT tasty at all. Expensive too. Don’t go here. Stay away.

Decent takeout or delivery Chinese food. Price is o.k. Food came out as ordered. Rice was stuffed into the box, always a good sign. Dishes were seasoned, looked and tasted pretty good. Will make it a point to try other dishes. Recommend if in the mood for some Chinese food.

I’ve been coming to Bethesda from out of town for years, and I always get take-out (often repeatedly) from Golden House. I love this little joint. I’ve always found their food to be delicious, well-prepared and hot. I especially like their hot and sour soup (with is now vegetarian). Oftentimes., I’ll ask them to make bean curd and broccoli, which isn’t on the menu. Now they have a super easy online ordering system. I’m waiting for my order now!

Placed an online order for chicken wings and fried rice. Chicken was undercooked and not done. Fried rice was salty and tasteless. When called to complain on my delivery order. she had an attitude about me complaining of my undercooked chicken and told me its not her problem. The offered to remake my food and in return burnt chicken and still undercooked. Not impressed and will not be ordering here again. Horrible food
