My wife spotted this location while driving so this was our first visit. Clean, neat, spacious, plenty of chairs, and a good selection. I do apologize for the darkness of the photos, but this was one of the lunch special selections: several pieces of 1 meat and 2 veggies. Chopped up jerk chicken, cabbages with peas, brown rice, a planktan, and I asked if they could drizzle some curry on the rice for a smooth garnish.

The customer service is atrocious. You have people looking dead in your face walking around going in and out of the back kitchen area, while one person is waiting on folks. When this store first opened up, I suppose the owners were trying to set the precedence, however, if you’re not going pay people a decent salary to work there, as an owner get in there yourself and build back your customer base. I waited 15 minutes for three sides of vegetables. It’s like there is no motivation to ensure a great customer service experience. Makes sense why it was dead empty in the middle of the lunch hour. Sad because I was excited and hopeful for this restaurant during their grand opening.

The food is pretty good if you’re not Caribbean or never had authentic. Customer service sucks. They act like you are bothering them with your business. I bought the $26 oxtail plate at noon for lunch. Ate a few bits and was saving it for dinner. By 1 it smelled so sour I had to throw it away. Refrigerate immediately! If you plan to eat after leaving location. I’ve never had food go bad so fast. Disgusting.

The ladies working today did not appear to like their jobs. Moving very slow, not welcoming, no smiles, no polite interactions, no thank yous, no kindness, like no one wanted to be there. I pray all 3 were just having an off bad day. I cannot imagine paying $26 for oxtails dinner again when it comes with such horrible customer service.
