First time eating here and I didn’t like it. Everything tasted like it came out of a can and the meat had a lot of grease in it;to have gravy with the meat. Except the cornbread that was good. The service was good,the food was hot and the workers were sweet.

A local tradition! Super friendly and super good; carry out or dine in! I recommend the fried chicken, black-eyed peas, & green beans…. I regret that I missed the Mac-n-cheese! And the pie. Ah, next time. Another diner enjoyed the Mexican casserole and turnip greens. Good food, y’all!

The only reason I’m giving them a one star when paying the lady at the register I seen to many Roches and no customer service at all the lady was being sarcastic my wife went to get hot sauce and the lady was conversation with another lady instead of just getting the hot sauce for her I rather eat McDonald’s than eat this never again will I eat o hole in the Wall place again slif passing by don’t stop here

Went to golden lady looking for a soul food option. Staff was friendly and the food was unbelievable. Got the fried chicken, okra, and collared greens. This place seems to be a staple in the community and I would encourage as many folks to come here as possible!
