I decided to give this place a try since it’s in my neighborhood. I was pretty disappointed. I ordered General Tso Chicken. The chicken was very good. My vegetable fried rice was horrible. It wasn’t fried at all & had no seasoning on it. Not even soy sauce could help it. All in all I wouldn’t go back. The rice is what makes the combination platter.

Golden Lake is a great addition to the neighborhood! Everything we ordered had tons of flavor and was well prepared. We tried some Chinese take out classics but will definitely be trying some of their other dishes next time, the menu is large and has a lot of options, all at very reasonable prices.

I ordered Moo Shu Chicken – light on the sauce, spicy. First time was great. 2nd time – the very next day was just as good. Veges were crispy – just delicious – good portion size, but no leftovers!! So nice to have a good, clean, Chineese restaurant to walk to. Can’t wait to try the other items on the menu.

I had delivery from Golden Lake Restaurant and was completely satisfied with my order. The order came quickly and my food was delicious. The vegetables were crisp and fresh and the shrimp were large and cooked to perfection. There was just enough sauce so that it didn’t overpower the dish. If you are ever in the area, I recommend giving them a try.

So I’ve always been a golden chopsticks fan but lately their wasn’t as good anymore so I tried Golden Lake instead. I ordered general tso chicken which barely had any flavor/spice but it looks very appetizing. The egg roll was nice & crispy, the fried shrimp dumplings were bland & the side of garlic sauce was okay. The food was fresh, hot & looks good but the flavor is missing. The customer service was good too & the passion smoothie (really a icy) was really good. If the flavor was there this would be 5 star. But I’d definitely order drinks & egg rolls again.

We ordered takeout. Food was fresh and good value for the price. Order was ready in a timely fashion. My only concern was the flavor. The fried rice was not well done, it seemed merely yellow from artificial coloring. I hope they will consider improving this dish moving forward with proper preparation! Our other dishes were fresh but could use more seasonings.
