Good place for Cantonese dishes and dim sum! We came here for my birthday to eat dim sum and they didn’t disappoint. We are regulars, and they have a great set of dishes you can choose from. Their lunch menu is great with young chow fried rice, spicy tendons, and crispy squid/pork, and their dim sum is decent. The only thing is i wish they made their rice dim sum coatings thinner. We spent about $94 for 2 people which is pretty expensive. I think they can be a bit cheaper too. Overall, it was a good experience. I wouldn’t come here on a daily basis though, only on special occasions.

I am thankful to have this place so near my house. The food is wonderful. They have an extensive dim sum menu, plus a full food menu on top of that. The soup dumplings and pork buns, OMG! I am not going to make the case that this is the best Chinese food ever. But it’s really good. I enjoyed the Mongolian beef and Sechuzan beef soup.

I went to Orlando to visit my daughter and her husband. I spoke with her on the phone and we decided to meet and have brunch. She recommended Golden lotus. I had never been there but dim sum is one of my favorite things to eat. When I got there at 11:00 a.m. it was empty I was the first one in the restaurant. I sat down and I ordered a few things for my daughter and her husband. About 20 minutes after they got there the food started coming out one dish after the other. Oh my goodness it was so good. Everything was so fresh and tasty. The servers there were so nice. Everything was so clean and tidy. Dish after dish kept coming out and the food was just absolutely delicious. After about 30 minutes the restaurant was filled. Every table was full of people who were enjoying this wonderful food. Yes I spent about $120 for three people and I would do it again quickly. I had a wonderful time my daughter and her husband had a wonderful time. I recommend Golden lotus to anyone who loves fresh dim sum in the morning.

Well, I tried to order fried dumplings, but she had her head down and had to wake her up (seemingly) to order. She seemed inconvenienced when asking questions trying to order from their menu, which has way too much on it. I should have walked out then and left it all alone, but when the food came out, an older lady with short hair slung, yes, slung it in my direction with one word: “Here.” It was rude. I understand if people are tired or having a bad day, but customer service goes a long way. I just walked in to buy from your restaurant not to be mistreated, especially not while I’m smiling at you. So of course I cannot tell you how the food tasted because I wasn’t eating food someone didn’t even seem to want you to have. I spent $8 on food I didn’t even eat because this place was this bad. Save your money. Don’t even go. I wish I hadn’t.

We ordered pork noodles with peeking sauce and another pork noodle dish. It was all noodles and little bits of pork. Little bits is an understatement, more like none. When we asked where the pork was and we were told that’s the dish… we politely paid our bill without eating and left hungry. We should have known better because there was a sign on the door says no refunds on food. We’d never ask for a refund but I’d never go back. Ever… Food was poor and service was lack luster.

Dim sum available all day! We came for a late dinner and had dim sum. The sticky rice in bamboo was excellent and authentic. I liked that it was made mostly with Chinese sausage (lap cheung) instead of with chicken which is what most restaurants do. The young chow fried rice was good too. Service could have been friendlier. Bathrooms were not amazing but not terrible either. Basically as expected for a Chinese place in Orlando. Food is worth coming back for though!

I’ve eaten here twice and the first time it was delicious! We couldn’t stop raving about it. We ordered the lunch special roasted duck, the orange chicken, and the pork lo mein. Everything was fresh she very well seasoned. The second time we came here, however, the food was more lackluster. It was not as seasoned and a bit on the cool side. Basically didn’t taste like the first time. I’ll give this place another shot but hope they can find some consistency with their meal prep. The service was also pleasant.

ordered dim sum to go. Dim sum was ok but not very authentic. Also ordered a roasted duck. It was $ 43 for one duck. They claim the duck was made daily fresh. However, the duck already perished with some bad smell. I tasted one bite and had diarrhea the second day

Dim sum seems pretty authentic, and fairly tasty. They do seem to be missing some dim sum dishes in their menu that we like to order when we go to other dim sum restaurants. I wish they had more.
