We said no sesame seeds (my mother in law is allergic), my wife and mother in law left to go get the replacement food they offered, but the manager called when they were nearly there and told them to bring the food back, but they did not bring it as the wait staff on the phone said to just come pick up the right food. We forgot about it as we didn’t want to waste the gas or time to drive all the way home and then back again. Definitely, don’t eat here as they just put whatever they feel like in the food, and then don’t make it right like they had said they would. Terrible, terrible management.

The prices are great and the one waitress they had was awesome. However the chicken chow mein did not have any Noodles in it and very little chicken if any and the fried rice had no vegetables in it and the rice had no flavor. The almond chicken was really gross the gravy had a strange flavor to it and it was not good. The orange chicken was awesome I loved the flavor. My son’s burger was very dry and bland.

Horrible environment. Space heaters are used and the building is cold. My food had a hair in it. The owner finally decided to help the waitress, who tried her best to do everything. No extra clean plates ready to bring out. How is this place in business?

We placed a to go order specified “no sesame seeds”. The lady on the phone told us it would be ready in 10 minutes. We got there 15 minutes later and had to wait 30 more. They gave us our food and before I left asked again to make sure there were no sesame seeds as a family member is very allergic. We got home only to find sesame seeds on everything! I called only and the waitress admitted that she forgot to write no seeds on the ticket but offered to replace the meal. I got half way there and she called me and at that time told me to bring the other food back. I explained we were almost there and did not bring the food. She said that wouldn’t be a problem, the owner then called and rudely explained without the soiled food he would no longer honor the replacement to make things right. Will never go back.

This was the worst experience I ever have had at a Chinese restaurant. I ordered my daughter egg flower soup and the rest of us ordered the lunch specials. Her soup wasn’t ready until after the rest of us had finished eating, and our food was awful. It tasted like microwave rice and some sort of veggie mush over crunchy noodles. They gave a tiny serving of mustard and the waitress had no idea what I was talking about when I asked for red sauce. The best part of the meal was the fortune cookie.

The Golden Moon is not what it used to be . Once enjoyed by my wife, daughter and mother in law, we would look forward to going out and enjoying a meal there but something has go amiss. Tonight’s bill was 48.05$ but the quality of food and friendliness of service was a 8.05$ bill. The butterflys were over cooked with hardly any filling, the bbq pork slices were about average and as for the four meals…lacking at best. Cold food and a colder attitude towards us left us with a sour taste and an upset stomach. Unfortunately we will not be going back.

This is usually a good place but my mom’s experience last night was aweful. One plate came out hot a good as always but the two other plates were cold in the middle and dry and meat was hard. When she asked the waitress what could be done maybe make a fresh plate would of been great. But the waitress told her “well if you were a regular customer maybe we could do something about it”. How are you going to tell your customers that!! Thats uncalled for to make such aweful responses to your customer. It used to place we would recommend to people but now it will be embarrassing.

Worst place to work for. Rude and lots of roaches. Just a week ago the health department was in. I had customers who found bugs in their food and drinks! They will not pay for a company to come in and spray. Instead spray store stuff. Mold in the walk in as well. Worked there and was sick the entire time. Got away from there and not sick any longer. Owner likes to put you down in front of others and belittle. I will not step foot back in that place. It’s dirty in the back and roaches in the ice machine. Not disgruntled, just disgusted!!! And this is why they were in the paper for bad reviews..myself and 2 other waitresses had to call on them. Pay no attention to latosha Jeffery the new waitress she was not there when I worked there. She has no clue as to why myself and others girls left there. She continues to work for them and serve the food that is roach infested.

Food quality has dropped tremendously. No heat in the building other then space heaters. Only one gal working the front..trying to seat, take orders, serve and check out. Service sucks. Used to be our favorite place to go now we won’t be going back
