Drove from Mentor to dine in on a Monday during dinner hour. The Host/server was very nice and water refilled promptly. We were the only diners when we arrived so we were a little concerned about our choice. One other customer came in a bit later to dine in and there was a Door Dash pick up. Definitely not busy at 6:30 but we don’t know why, the food was top notch!!

I had not been here for a few years because the quality of the food had deteriated. However today my husband and I felt like Chinese food and I wanted to order takeout from someplace close to home. I read recent reviews that were good and said the restaurant was under new management so we gave it a try. We are glad we tried it. Food was nice and hot, fresh and tasted great. We’ll be back ☺️

This place was fabulous. I had never heard of them or been here. It was a Monday and my usual China House was not open. I was having a craving for Chinese. I Googled Chinese food and they popped up. To be honest they are better than my usual spot. Customer service was great. A little more expensive but the food was worth it. Definitely will be returning.

This place use to have the best food ever. Today I ordered egg rolls and wonton with shrimp chips . It was by far the nastiest food I’ve gotten from a Chinese restaurant. The shrimp chips were so greasy. The eggrolls didn’t taste good at all, and you could tell the wonton soup was frozen. So disappointing!! Unfortunately I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant to anybody that likes Chinese food because this was by far the worst!!

The thing about this place is the staff, and secondly, the vegetables. Every piece of meat you get seems to be accompanied by a supremely cooked vegetable. It’s high-effort Cantonese Ohio food at a price point competitive with anyone around. Staff are always super nice and really make it worth the trip. I’m rooting for you, Golden Mountain. Thanks for providing me with my lo mein injections when I need them.

Two stars because the young hostess was pleasant and eagerly offered to make a special order, which was General Tao’s tofu. Sadly the meal was one of the worst in my life. They used a Styrofoam box and poured hot sauce over the already hot food and melted the plastic everywhere it touched. A miracle the box didn’t leak. My plan was to eat some then take the rest home but the box was stapled shut over the clasp which l destroyed on opening. Side was cooked but refrigerated – broccoli and 2 cute square slices of carrots. Vegetable egg roll was good and cooked perfectly. I paid $1.50 extra for a combo so l got the egg roll and half the rice, which was white. They did a good job breading and frying the tofu. Maybe it was my imagination but l was tasting the box for hours and it seemed like tiny pieces of it were sticking to my teeth. I was pretty hungry so instead of marching back in immediately l ate the egg roll and a few pieces of tofu then took it back in. The hostess was very concerned but didn’t know what to do. She explained the melted box with, “The sauce was very hot,” and offered, “l can put it in a new box for you.” I declined the new box. I left it and asked her to show it to the cook which she said she would. No offer of a new meal or a refund but l didn’t ask either because l ate some of it and didn’t want the aggravation at the time. They seem like nice people l hope they get their act together.

I’ve been going here for years, and I always order take out. Tonight, we decided to dine in. Would not recommend. We had a party of ten, and we were there for 30 minutes before they even took our orders for appetizers. They were moderately busy, but not busy enough for us to wait that long. I’m giving them four stars because the food is delicious, but the service is not the best inside the restaurant. The women’s bathroom was also very dirty. One stall had a broken toilet that was clogged, and the other stall didn’t have a functioning lock. Regarding the food, everything is great. Amazing shrimp chips, must try. Good egg drop soup and crab ragoons, good fried rice and beef with veggies, and excellent shrimp with lobster house. If you’re looking for authentic Chinese, don’t go here. ORDER TAKE OUT. You will not be disappointed. Eat in, and you will be.

Front of house staff was polite and fast. That’s about the only positive thing I have to say. With the exception of the egg roll I think all of my food was reheated. The rice was overcooked. Ribs were tough and very little meat to speak of. About 3 quarters of the ‘dinner for 2 special’ ended up in the trash. Will not be returning.
