I travel a lot and come here as much as I can when I’m not working. This place has a great selection for lunch. Well I guess that changed. The sign out front says Breakfast & Lunch and so does all the websites. I was shocked to find out they don’t serve lunch anymore. They could at least changed it all instead of just the menu. It’s been like this for 4+ months is what I was told.

Just what we’ve been looking for! The menu is excellent, with a variety of options including non-pork meats. This is a factor that determines whether or not we will return, as we don’t eat pork. The place was packed, but our party of 6 was seated quickly. The coffee and tea were hot and fresh. Nikoll’s service was outstanding. The food was absolutely, positively delicious. All around and excellent place to eat!

First time here and it was amazing. It was so busy which had me a bit worried but the service was excellent and the food came out in no time at all. I thought the portions were huge, none of us could finish our meals.

They were pretty busy on a Sunday morning. We had about a 10 minute wait, which wasn’t bad compared to the 30 minute wait time we were given by First Watch in Shiloh. The front entrance seats were a little uncomfortable considering we kept squeezing in to keep out of the way as the waitstaff moved throughout the restaurant. That I would say was my only negative. Other than that, the food was really good! The portion size for the price was off the charts as well! I brought back half of what I was given. I ordered the “Southern Border” omelet without any cheese. It came with hasbrowns (generous helping) and two large fluffy pancakes. Will definitely be returning the next time we’re in town.

Another CLASSIC Breakfast done well! Two eggs -over easy, sausage patties, crispy hash browns and two delicious pancakes. What a great breakfast before going into work today! This is a definite Arnold (Terminator) phrase! Nicole is a terrific server!

The best restaurant around for breakfast. Very nice variety of breakfast items. My wife loves the mushroom omelet, with tons of mushrooms. I get the two egg combo which is hard to eat everything. Eat there ASAP!

When we arrived the parking lot was full, and some people were dining outside of the restaurant. We went in and was immediately seated and waited on. I ordered a golden nugget skillet with pancakes, which consisted of eggs on top of hash browns with different breakfast meats. The pancakes were big and tasted great and so did the skillet. We also had coffee with our meal, which was not very strong. The diner was big and older than most diners you see. I enjoyed the food and the atmosphere.

I think this is a local diner in Swansea IL. Wanted breakfast before flying home and this place had great reviews. A pretty simple place with a simple menu. Gets the hunger job done. I had pancakes with bacon and eggs. It was ok.
