We’ve been trying to get in these doors since they opened bc they’re always packed, but today there was no line . Walked in and waited about 2mins before the hostess had us follow her to our seats(super spacious with a laid back feel playing oldies rock and ballads you can’t help but sing along to lolbvs)…I didn’t catch the name of our server, but she was pretty nice and attentive. Now this food tho-i know it’s a pancake place, but the french toast Meal was clearly callin’ our names cuz I ordered the Cinnamon Apple Glaze while hubby stuck with the original and bruhhhhhhh they were mouthwatering frfr(this is the first time in life I’ve ever eaten fruit on french toast)…even though I added feta cheese, salt and pepper to my eggs, they were still just meh! Overall, this is a great place for family time bc there’s a “Cheers” type atmosphere based on my observations of how staff interacted with their regulars

Edge Fitness Shrewsbury meets Golden Oak Pancake House!! This is by far one of the best breakfast places in the STL. It’s kinda ironic that we are neighbors since no one would put pancakes and fitness in the same sentence. However what better way to obtain a delicious meal after a great workout! Shoutout to Fillor and his team they’re very warm and friendly!

Cannot say enough good about this place! We were greeted by a very nice gentleman (the owner, i think) and seated immediately. It was busy,but it is so large and spacious inside! Our server Bia was super nice and attentive…and the food was AMAZING! We got the Irish skillet, the Italian skillet and,giant chocolate chip pancakes!

Me and my girlfriend stopped here on Tuesday morning before we went on an adventurous day throughout STL, and all I can say about this place, is WOW! Everything is so amazing, they make everyone feel welcome. We were seated promptly, and within 5 minutes of ordering, we received our food! We both got a Skillet, and it was SO DELICIOUS! I would DEFINITELY recommend making a stop down here next time you make your way to STL, it will not disappoint!!!

The food was good, and better than most breakfast places I’ve been to in St. Louis for the price AND quantity. I would say it’s a little worse than the Rooster but WITHOUT the fear of your car getting stolen while eating, or harassed by homeless before and after your meal.

We came as a family right when they opened on Saturday morning. It wasn’t very crowded. Our server was on her phone in the back when we need refills on our coffee. The coffee was very weak and didn’t taste good. The food was overpriced for the quality. The kids got the cinnamon apples. The apples weren’t hot and looked like they just opened up a can of apple pie filling. The pancakes tasted fine, but weren’t anything special. I got the bagel sandwich. My bread wasn’t toasted and the filling of eggs wasn’t very hot. We spent $70 for a family of four. We could of spent less money at Yolklore just down the road for 100% better quality food.

We took our 2 year old son with us to this pancake house and had a really good experience with the servers. The atmosphere was nice and clean. Our only disappointment was the quality of the food we had. The pancakes were great, but the eggs, bacon and sausage were just subpar. The cost was more than the quality I would have expected. However, we didn’t experience different items on the menu. Overall, we enjoyed our time there.
