High quality food and good service. Have been here a couple of times for lunch and considering lunch menus are supposed to be on the economical side you would expect the portions to be, well, economical! But no, this place was impressive with the quantity and quality of ingredients and cooked to perfection.

I don’t EVER complain but this was terrible. When I opened the container for my to-go meal, there was so much grease dripping everywhere. There was bones in the one piece of chicken I bit into. I couldn’t even eat the rice because it was covered in yellow/orange looking grease from the chicken. I would never go back.

Everyone prefers their own local Chinese restaurant or the one they grew up next to. However, that isn’t the case for me. I recently moved to Basking Ridge and this is one of my favorite Chinese restaurants when it comes to just about every dish I’ve tried so far. One of the best parts of this particular restaurant is that they sell scalion pancakes which are super hard to find! My only complaint is that they are pricey and they don’t deliver.

The food is pretty good but could probably be a little fresher. I like the wonton soup, vegetable spring roll, and chicken fried rice. Beef with broccoli is good too. Unfortunately, the service often leaves more to be desired. If you want REALLY GOOD, FRESH Chinese food, go to House of Wong in Manville!!

I love Golden Palace. I have very specific dietary needs and Golden Palace always makes me food I can eat. I love their Hunan chicken but I can’t eat corn or spicy food, so they leave out the corn and don’t make it spicy. The vegetables are crisp and tasty and there’s enough for leftovers. The hot and sour soup isn’t gloppy with cornstarch like other places and actually tastes a little sour, like it’s supposed to taste. It’s the only place I trust to make Chinese food for me.
