We came here for. Sunday lunch. We haven’t been here for a couple of years now. We had previously had a good experience in this restaurant but this time wasn’t good. The udon chicken is so bland that we cannot eat it. We tried adding soy sauce and pepper in it but didn’t improve the taste. We told the female server but she just recommended to add what condiments we have on the table. We mentioned to her that we already did that and asked if there’s anyway they can provide any sauce or spices from their kitchen to improve the bland taste. She didn’t provide any remedy. The portion of the rice was quite small than we used to have but roast pork is still tasty. We won’t be back anytime soon. There are many Asian restaurants in the area with good customer service and better taste.

It’s always nice to have a server who seems to really want you to enjoy your experience at their establishment. Proper greeting, smiling and she gave her opinion on certain dishes. My wife and I tried a dish ( fried duck in southern brown gravy) and I forgot the name. It was superb. Thanks for everything.

Their food is very good, service on this visit (online order and pickup) was so-so. The woman who came up to the register to help me could have been a bit warmer/more personable. I thanked her after paying for my order and got no response from her (a “thank you” or “have a nice day, please come again” would have been nice). One thing that goes a long way is pleasant, courteous customer service, especially with the outrageous prices that we pay for everything today

I’m new to the area and I decide to research the best Chinese restaurants in the area which brought me to Golden Pavilion. They had the highest reviews. When I entered the establishment it was a pleasant atmosphere, and no complaints about that. Things turned for the worst when I began asking the Asian guy located at the register some questions about substitutes on the menu. He very unprofessional and displayed a mundane demeanor. If I could talk to the manager, he needs to work on his customers service skills. I advised that I understood the menu however, I was requesting substitutes due to vegetarian request. He was very nasty and rude. I decided to take my $50 order to East Delight where they answer all my questions and gave me several options!! Moral to the story is if you do not like how people conduct business take your money somewhere else!!…..

The food was average for most Chinese restaurants but they had a huge choice. Also plenty of sushi and sashimi choices too. The waiter, an elderly gentleman, was very pleasant and quick to refill glasses. Presentation was good and the portions were generous.

This is the way Americanized lemon chicken is supposed to be made… not with mystery meat hidden in batter. Bathroom was clean. So was the restaurant. The bar area can get a bit noisy, but there’s plenty of seating away from it. My first visit and I’ll be back.

The only thing i enjoyed Here were my appetizers which were all deep fried. The general Tao was not good at all and neither was the fried rice it came with. The drinks however were well made and strong. Would come back for the drinks only
