Took a chance and decided to try this place out. The restaurant is older but the decor was beautiful! It had age and the detail of all the woodwork was stunning. The appetizer was very good, I enjoyed the chicken wings the most. I ordered the sweet and sour chicken with fried rice. The veggies were all fresh but the chicken and fried rice lacked flavor. The service was very nice but some people by the front door were waiting up to 15 minutes just to be greeted. There was only one waitress working the floor during lunch so she was trying her best. Over not a terrible place.

Love their food! As a family we have been going to this family owned restaurant, not many out there! For over 20 + years!! Prices are good for quantity and the quality is awesome, always! When husband was with cancer, that was his go to food! War Soup.. not the correct name but we called it that to fight the cancer. Excellent service, too!!!

Husband and I came for the first time tonight for dinner. They are extremely nice and very customer service oriented. We had a dinner special for 2 which includes soup or egg roll (no doubt best egg roll in my life), honey walnut shrimp, orange peel chicken, cauliflower beef, plus a honey fried banana for desert. It was amazing! Everything for $25 with tax. Just the service here itself is definitely worth coming back. Really glad we found this place.

Please if you are even thinking of going to this place DO NOT! I ordered the shrimp fried rice, sweet and sour chicken, steamed dumplings, and the beef chow mein. The only thinking that was somewhat edible was the the shrimp fried rice. The dumplings were literally falling apart. I normally do not write reviews but this place was so bad that I just had to! I spent $40 on food that was not even worth it.

This is now the only Chinese food I will ever eat again!! Everything is made fresh including their egg drop soup. Simply the best! Even if you do not like Chinese food you have to try Golden Phoenix! The little tea cups with hot tea is a wonderful touch. Definitely recommend this place.

One of our favorite places of all time! We’ve been coming here for about 12 years now. The Golden Phoenix is such a comfort! There just aren’t any more restaurants like this. Its a sit down restaurant with no buffet. They do offer great lunch specials and great dinner combos. It’s a Mom and Pop restaurant and they work so hard! Please come visit Golden Phoenix, we highly recommend it!

I have been eating at the Golden phoenix for close to 25 years. Kien and Maria are wonderful, and have kept The Golden Phoenix running like clock work. Food is consistently AMAZING. outside of lunch everything is served family style. there are 2 private rooms that can be made into one large room for parties. There are large tables strategically though-out the restaurant, great for big groups. If you would like something very traditional or more american fair it can all be found here. Took me and my family years to work our way through the menu.
