This place looks pretty new, the service was a bit slow but they are trying their best. Expect some delays because the servers are new and young, but they are working their best.

The food was absolutely phenomenal. I’ve been looking forward to eating here since I gave out gift certificates for Christmas. Finally we made it in and it was delicious! My husband and I shared the Chile cheese fries, Christmas, while we eating for our entrees. I had the frittata, which had the yummiest veggies and was seasoned really well. The potatoes could’ve been cooked a little longer but we’re tasty. My husband had the cheese enchiladas, Christmas, and the Spanish rice that came with it was amazing.

Golden piñon has an amazing menu with delicious breakfast choices. My personal favorite has been the French toasts, the presentation is beautiful but the taste even better. Compliments to the chefs.

Amazing food, I had the Golden Burger and churros for desert. Great taste with fresh produce and locally grown grass fed Angus beef. Amazing taste. I hear the chicken fried steak is amazing. Great prices. Amazing food. Welcoming and friendly atmosphere.

Stopped in for lunch today and WOW! Some of the best chicken tacos I’ve ever had!! Very fresh and homemade tasting. Excellent, attentive, friendly service and even the chef stopped by. A/C felt great and good vibes/ambience. Will definitely go back for breakfast! We were in and out quickly also (weekday lunch).

Went here for breakfast and had the Santa Fe scramble. Felt bad for our waitress, who was overbooked with tables but still did her best. Food was good, not super exceptional but came out timely and filled me up. The scramble was great, potatoes were a little over salted and not as crispy as I would’ve liked but that’s also a personal preference. Biscuit was homemade which is a real treat, a little plain but they supply you with ample jellies. I’m mostly just happy there’s finally an all day breakfast place in Taos, will visit again soon.

Waited over an hour after being seated for our food.

First of all the Golden Pinon serves very good food. However I would avoid the place on Sundays. It seems they have enough servers but they have no manager at all. Almost everyone on Sunday was waiting over an hour for their food. But if you go during the week it’s much better. I would have given the restaurant 5 stars but they really need to change something on Sundays. There are other restaurants that are busy but you never have to wait that long. Plus I think their servers are very young and not experienced enough. Maybe good management would be the key to this restaurant.

New restaurant in Taos and the experience couldn’t have been better. Friendly staff, great food, and a wonderful atmosphere with beautiful views of the Taos mountains. Affordable food for the whole family and breakfast and lunch is served all day! If you’re a local or just visiting Taos, this is a perfect place to enjoy a meal.

This is a great place to eat! Food ( sandwiches, salads and local fare) is absolutely delicious, staff super efficient and friendly. The kids portion of Mac n cheese plus fries was good sized. Outside is so relaxing to enjoy your meal, shade trees and a light breeze, inside seemed nice and clean.
