Local neighborhood restaurant that is a favorite of my mom’s. The couple who own the restaurant are nice and the food is tasty and delicious and reasonably priced. A bit old in furnishings and not a super nice looking strip mall area. They are also open for lunch on a Sunday which is convenient.

We drove over on a Friday afternoon to find that they were closed despite their online hours stating they were open. They have 2 inconsistent signs posted on the front of the restaurant with different operating times, so we aren’t sure what their hours truly are. A bit disappointed because we were excited to try their food. We are hoping to come back when they solidify their hours.

Looks can be deceiving here, it’s a small hole in the wall place. The outside looks very rundown. The lot that Golen Plate is in looks completely terrible. But we decided to try it out since the sesame pockets here were supposedly very good, and it did not disappoint!

For those complaining about the lo mein lacking flavor- this is not the super salty Panda Express dishes that you’re used to! This place is phenomenal, and serves authentic food- the crispy Hong Kong noodles are a must try… and as for the lo mein, it’s delicious and not overly oily like so many other spots. The owners are very kind, and love making the drive out here to support them!

Great value and good food. We ordered from them a few months ago for pickup. Fast and easy to get to. Don’t judge the outside. They give you so much more protein that other places. We ordered Chicken Fried Rice, Mongolian Chicken, and Beef Lo Men. The crab chess wantons are right on point. If you’re looking for good fast meal give them a try
