It is a Japanese owned and run ramen restaurant, and the only of it’s name. Our Tonkotsu soup cook 23 hours and make fresh every day. There is not only Ramen and Tsukemen but also we have a lot of side menu and appetizers. And you can have plenty of beer, sake, Shochu etc… with Ramen. It’s like Japanese style pub Izakaya.

The neighborhood surrounding the restaurant is a little rough, and the outside seems a little off, however once you walk into the door, all that went away. The venue is cozy, will decorated and welcoming.

I wanted to try a new ramen shop and everything here bit spot. We started with the grilled Char Siu and I ordered the Black Garlic Tsukemen. To drink, Sparkling Sake which is now my favorite. It’s so crisp and refreshing. This place is pretty cozy.

Definitely a great spot for ramen. We were able to find parking on King Street but I can imagine that it might be harder to find during peak hours. The restaurant space is also on the smaller side so you may have to go on the waitlist. Service was a bit slow.

It’s the best ramen place in Honolulu. Tonkotsu is served with hard noodles. Black Garlic ramen is my favorite! The taste is so rich. You can make it spicy – level 1 is good but up to level 2 is fine. Karaage chicken is also good.

Delicious! Ramen noodles were cooked perfectly, broth was flavorful with a kick of spice. I like how we can choose what we want on the paper instead of having to tell the server. Food is cooked within a reasonable amount of time. So good! Service was amazing as well.

We got there a little after 6:00 and we were the only ones. First time. Wondering if it was going to be any good because no one else was there. By the time we placed our order it was full. Got the black garlic ramen and Golden Pork Bun. So good! Went with a two for the spice level. It was excellent, but very spicy. Not your average mainland spice level. Hot sake was a great compliment.
