Here visiting from Southern California. I moved out of Illinois 4 years ago. This place was my go to Chinese spot before I moved. So I had to come back and get some food stuff. I was happy with the meal for sure. You cannot find good Chinese in California where I am.

The food was pretty good. We had the wings,shrimp fried rice ,wonton soup,sweet and sour shrimp. Most likely, I will be back,but take out the atmosphere is very, very quiet. The ladies there pretty much take your order and go on with their day. It’s so quiet that it makes you not want to talk.

Used to be a great place that I recommended to others. My usual order in 2019 $12. In 2021, same order $15. In 2023, same order $28. Seafood rubbery like it was cooked in advance and then re-heated. These guys are riding on the coat tails of the previous owners.

If I could give this place negative 5 stars, I would. We ordered takeout today, and was immediately greeted with a clump of hair when my husband opened his sweet and sour chicken. I called the restaurant. No apology, but said she would replace it. When my husband arrived at the restaurant, she said accused him of soiling the food, stating, “You drop on floor!” We had just opened the food. And the hair was too dark and long to be my husband’s, and too straight to be mine. Gross. I will be calling the health department tomorrow.

We moved from Naperville to Aurora over 12 years ago and live literally across the street. Never tried it until tonight ( just stayed stuck in a rut at our usual places). We wish we knew all along what we know now. This place is amazing! We ordered the veggie egg rolls, crab rangoon, Mongolian Beef, Shrimp Egg Foo Young, and Sweet & Sour chicken. Everything was fresh, flavorful, reasonably priced, and we’ve found our new “take-out home”!! Thank you, Golden Sea!

Been eating in here for a long while. While there is a change between the old owner and the new owner. The flavor did change between the two but I don’t think it a massive change although the orange chicken and egg roll did flavor change and prefer the new owner better. Not to mention the prices haven’t really increase that much and they still give you good proportion of the food.

Food is not the same as old owners! The beef fried rice and chicken fried rice lacked flavor. My daughter said this rice has no flavor. The chicken lo mien didn’t taste the same either. So disappointed today.
