I have been coming here for years, the food is amazing. The recent change in ownership prompted me to leave a review because now the service is up to par!! Karla and her team are fast, friendly, and attentive. The food has not lost authenticity (so delicious) and the slight changes to the menu are refreshing, now offering more options. You can see that what drives them is providing an excellent customer experience. Also has a remodeled banquet hall available for any event. Don’t miss out on this hidden gem!

I have been eating at Golden skewer for the past 18 years since the day they opened up. I was scared that the new ownership would not live up to the high standard that the previous ownership held but nothing has changed. The food is absolutely delicious and still the best Armenian / Mediterranean food in all of Los angeles. Give the new ownership a chance. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Staff ignores parties of one. Waited at the door for a couple of minutes, and walked out disappointed. Perhaps a short greeting and/or acknowledgement from two men at the front desk would have sufficed to keep me there.
