I ordered some chicken wings and french fries from Golden Skillet, the chicken and fries was nice golden brown and hot with some flavor. It seems like, they don’t offer, too many french fries with your chickens, so don’t get your hopes up expecting to receive more french fries. They only give you one mambo sauce, or (mumbo sauce) depending on how do you like to pronounce it?to go with your order of chicken wings, and if you want more mambo sauce, you have to pay .25 cents more for each. Staff was friendly, helpful and quick with my order. Restaurant was clean and parking spaces are limited.

Disappointed to leave this review. Since I was a kid (I’m 38 now) golden skillet has had the best fried chicken hands down. I don’t know who was cooking today or when the standards were dropped but my chicken tasted like fish and my bf chicken sandwich tasted off too. Neither of us could finish our food smh. What a waste of $20

Golden skillet always had some bomb chicken even from back in the day. Now I will say that I had the audacity to try their gizzards. Man oh man. I’ve had them three times now and each time they were on point. Very good! The pic is a GIZZARD box!

When I went to the Golden skillet in Forestville, I purchased some wings and two sweet teas, as soon as I looked in one of the teas, there was a small fly in my drink, I was unsatisfied with this and would never think that this won’t happen, safe to say I will not be returning..
