Golden State Chef Co is a locally owned and operated ready to eat meal service. We are a from scratch kitchen in our Royal Oak. Every meal is made on site with high quality ingredients. Every meal is packed in a eco friendly container made from recycled materials and is oven and microwave safe. Our menu changes weekly and we are 99% gluten free and dairy free and 100% and soy free. NO subscriptions or contracts here. Just order when you need us or drop by our grab n go location to get a meal when you need it!

I’ve started getting grab and go meals here on a weekly basis. Every single one has been delicious and keeps me full. I like that they include the calories and macros on all the meals. Really helps keep me on track. The guys are super nice every time I come in too.

Went in tonight for the first time got the Korean beef $15 and chicken salad $10. Warmed up the beef for 15 mins in the oven. The beef came out super tender. The sauce was very deep with flavor. The rice was cooked well and the carrots were soft tender and sweet. Feeling very satisfied after eating the meal. Everything tastes, smells, and feels super fresh.

The second I tried the meal I knew the chef was top notch. This is my second place trying “to go prepped meals” and I wont be trying a third. Love that the menu changes every week. The food is always fresh and tasty. I can place an order Sunday night and get it the following day. Some places you have to pre order nearly a week out and its easily missed. Happy to have found this place. Will be coming back weekly.

Chef Ryan came to our house to cook and serve a private 4-course tasting menu. The integrity of the food was outstanding, and the presentation and service were top-notch! Chef Ryan was the perfect combination of personable and professional. The menu he created for our evening was amazing, as were the drink pairings….definitely on par with 5 Star restaurants. I highly recommend Golden State Chef Co., and I look forward to using Chef Ryan for future events.

My husband and I received 8 meals (2 meals/ week for a month) as a gift after the birth of our baby. Ryan worked with us to create a unique menu of meals that we wouldn’t have thought to make at home, all of which have been delicious! The quality of the food is similar to what you would find in a fine dining restaurant. The meals came nicely packaged in recyclable containers, and everything was clearly labeled with heating, storage, and serving instructions. This made it so easy to have tasty, complete meals, even with a newborn in the house. The menus were nicely balanced in terms of meat/ vegetables as well, so we felt like we were eating quite healthily. In addition to the high quality of the food, we were especially impressed with Ryan’s flexibility– we were able to schedule deliveries according to our schedule, and tweak the menu selections as the month went on. We liked several of the dishes so much that we decided we had to repeat them. We were also grateful that he was willing to drive all the way out to Ann Arbor, especially in light of the winter weather we had! I would recommend Golden State Chef Co to anyone looking for delicious, healthy meals and extra convenience.
