Our server seemed young and eager to do well, even had a positive outgoing attitude. This is a great thing, but I think management is making his job very difficult. Ex: The food sadly was a huge miss. 2/3 dishes were just not good. We expressed this concern and we’re simply told, thank you for your honesty. No other solutions were presented to fix the situation. My dish instead of a smooth flavorful sauce was covered in more of a dry rub of spices(truly as if a jar mistakenly got dumped over my food) which covered my noodles and made it very dry crunchy with spice and very difficult to chew/swallow. Our server could tell it was bad since 90% of my plate remained untouched. I do not believe management allowed for our situation to be fixed, or he just didn’t know how to handle the situation. So in the end they got our money once, but not likely ever again. The best thing we had was the chicken fried rice, which wasn’t amazing but hit the spot.

The absolute best wontons – hands down!! Crunchy fried goodness. We also tried Kung Pao Chicken and Mongolian Beef. Both were served in a delicious sauce and lots of meat with freshly sliced vegetables. We appreciated the large portions to enjoy leftovers for lunch the following day. Awesome location and friendly service!!

I got some take out for lunch today. The people are friendly and the meal was awesome! I feel like you def get your moneys worth for the lunch portion. I bit into the crispy wonton and instantly I was like, “damn, that’s good!” The wontons in the soup were super fresh tasting too. I liked everything! I will be back!

Not your average overly-moist Chinese place. Their sauce has a kick. Note I have not seen a golden stik in there in years though, which makes me wonder about the plural claim but maybe they keep them in a safe in back. Maybe they had to sell one of the Golden Stix to keep going during the Plague Years, not sure. Thing is it doesn’t really what the stix are made of, all you gotta do is EAT.

Recently tried Golden Stix – to be honest we were hesitant because of some bad reviews – this is hands down the best and most authentic Chinese food in the area! I lived for several years in various parts of China and this place hits on all notes – give it a try! Hunan pork is amazing, vegetarian options are amazing! We will be back again and again.

We normally love the food at Folden Stix, but we had a terrible experience last night. I ordered food at 6:15. She said it would be ready in one hour. We arrived at 7:15, and had to wait an additional 45 minutes to get our food. We didn’t leave with our take-out until 8 o’clock. So frustrating!
