I’m not such a big fan of the local places around me beside Xina and Tang Dynasty, but I gave this place a shot and it wasn’t bad. The beef and broccoli wasn’t chewy like most places. The wonton and lo mein weren’t bad either. Would try them again. Curious about their general tso.

When ii want Chinese food, this is where I go. The food is very good . They are clean. They make the real Won Ton flavor soup. I say real because many restaurant don’t real get the true flavor. When I go for Chinese, if they Won Ton Soup flavor is off I know the food will be from just alright to less. This place is very very good

I’ve been coming to Golden Taste for as long as I’ve been eating Chinese food and it’s the best in town. Every other Chinese restaurant around here pales in comparison. The crab rangoon is fresh and always so delicious! The prices here are very fair too; nothing is too expensive. If you’re looking for a new Chinese place or are just visiting the area you have to try Golden Taste!

Tried this place in town and completely regret it. The bourbon chicken was gross and had nothing to it and the brown rice was half dry and clumped together. The General tsos was pretty mushy but didn’t have any sauce in the container which made it mushy but dry and after already eating half my container of soup a little tiny moth-like bug floated to the top assuming their rice has pantry moths since it was chicken and rice soup (took pics but really hard to see). It’s understandable (kind of) but highly disgusting, unprofessional, and not what I wanted to waste $35 on. Just super disappointed and grossed out all together. And they forgot my almond cookies, but it’s not even worth calling about.

So ive lived in Toms River my whole life and have tried every Chinese restaurant in the area and this place is by far the best. I have never written a review but felt like they need way more recognition. I usually get general tsos chicken with lo mein on the side with an order of steamed dumplings and its by far the best ive ever had. My girlfriend hated chinese food until she tried this place and fell in love with the sweet and sour chicken and begs me to order chinese for every cheat meal. Today i switched up my order just to try something new and got the shrimp dumplings and kung pao chicken and it blew me away. Both were amazing. 100% the BEST chinese spot in Toms river!
