Accidental discovered this place while passing by to my destination, stopped by for a quick lunch and some to go. Glad I did, not only food was delicious, but I also won 50 bucks as a first timer to try my luck for only $1.00 game of Keno machine. Picked the numbers out of my fortune cookie. I guess the cookie really gave me a good fortune today 🙂

Spent $120 on dinner which was very good. I placed my takeout order over the phone from a list I had compiled. When the food was brought home, I found that there was no hot mustard that I asked for, but the worst part was instead of getting 2 large hot and sour soups, I ended up with 2 large egg drop soups. I Love their hot and sour soup and was looking forward to it!!! Did not care at all for the egg drop soup, nor did my family members. I left them a nice tip as usual but now I will have to check my order before leaving the restaurant in the future. I was very disappointed with the order screw up, who is to blame here? Myself? Or the staff packing the order? Or the order taker?

I will preface this by saying I never tip with a card. I ordered take out about a week ago and paid $36 and some change with my debit. When I balanced my account today, I saw Golden Wok gave themselves a 30% tip charging $46 and change to my card. This is flat out robbery!

Very generous portions, and the menu items are good. The Szechuan dishes are done properly. The hot and sour soup is different from most restaurants in that it really has a sour component that is, I think, more genuine than the heavier beef broth soups.

Looks small from the outside but the dining area is a good size. They have these nice wooden tables as well. Have been there a couple times and the food was consistent. Very good, will be visiting again.
