My new favorite chinese resturant! The Servers were very friendly and attentive. They immediately brought us hot tea and a carafe of water. We ordered lemon chicken, sesame chicken, and shrimp chop suey. So delicious!! The lemon chicken was the best I have ever eaten! So crispy with a lightly sweet lemon sauce. The sesame chicken was breaded lightly and not overly fried. The sauce was perfect! Shrimp chop suey had lots of big shrimp and veggies in a light garlic sauce. Food and service was all excellent! We will definately be coming back!

Excellent food and service! My husband is immunocompromised and the worker nicely put us at a corner booth. Then she even gave us a carafe of water so she would not have to visit multiple times. And went out back and got a mask to wear when she came over! The food is amazing. I tried the hot and sour soup for the 1st time. Very flavorful and had lots of things in it that tasted good. Excellent egg rolls. My husband had the fried shrimp appetizer and he loved it. We both had beef with vegetables. Nice mix and sauce not too salty. Thanks for a great lunch!!

My Wife and I went to Dinner here at the Golden Wok on April 5th, 2023. We’ve been here before, and everytime it’s been a great delicious experience. Right off the bat, the service was excellent. We were seated by the window, given 2 menu’s, fresh ice water, and offered tea. We started this food experience off with a few appetizers. Fried Dumplings, Egg drop soup, and Crab Rangoon. All of them were excellent. They have the best Egg Drop Soup in Grand Rapids. For our main courses we ordered the House Lo Mein, and Curry Chicken w extra sauce. The Lo Mein was superb, but the Curry Chicken stole the show. Super flavorful and served hot. The waitress was informative and attentive with a friendly demeanor. They also offer a 5% discount if you pay in cash. We will be definitely be coming back again soon.

Very disappointed and disgusted. Even with signs of employees must wash hands also common sense while dining our waitress she was rude when we asked for tea straws and said we were ready to order walked away hastly with a attitude very rude not pleasant at all then I went to restroom she came in after me she went to the bathroom used the toilet walked right out without washing hands and rubbing her nose we called and explained they put us on hold and left us hanging. Unbelievable no stars from my family bad experience and horrible customer service!!!!!

This has been our favorite local Chinese restaurant in Grand Rapids for over 15 years! The staff has always been super friendly every time we’re there, the prices are reasonable, and the food is great. Absolutely go dine in for the lunch specials, it’s the best deal and you get so much food for it. Their hot & sour soup is amazing, we get it every time and I’ve never had better at another Chinese restaurant. My personal favorite entree is the chicken & broccoli. It’s a mild dish but real comfort food for me, and the broccoli is cooked perfectly every time where it’s still got a good fresh snap to it and is never mushy. The fried dumplings are another fave, as I like that they’re more of a bread wrapper than the pasta-like gyoza most places do.
