The owners are very nice. The restaurant area was clean and the food was delicious! They give you plenty of food portions for a fair price. I went inside to order with my 9 month old in tow and the owner’s son was nice enough to carry my food out to my car for me. They will be seeing more of me because I live not too far from the area, they felt like family and the food was worth every dime!

Flew in town for a training; im not even from here. This restaurant came up on google and of course I was nervous.I ordered the fried chicken, Mac n cheese, and the potatos as my side. Im from Louisiana and im giving this five stars. It tasted like the food I have back at home. It was so fresh and flavorful I was highly impressed. The cornbread was clearly made from scratch and was sweet and buttery but not too sweet and was soft as hell. I wish I had known about this before Thursday bc I would’ve came earlier in the week when choosing my lunch. Definitely recommend. I wish I could get her recipe for the cornbread, the potatos and Mac n cheese!!!

Skip the fast food places and come here! We found this gem of a place thanks to Google on our way to Charleston. This is food made with love. It is a convenience store but there is a lovely woman cooking and selling this food inside. Soul food for sure!

I just visited this restaurant. It was so wonderful, I came back the next day for more. It’s a wonderful gem inside a small mart that everyone should try. The food is very tasty and seasoned really well. The prices and servings are very reasonable. The facility is clean. I think I was most touched by the kindness that the Mother and Daughter showed me while I was there. They were so accommodating, personable, and friendly. I highly recommend!!!

I visited Good Eating Kitchen today and the food was very good. The lady was very friendly. When l order my food, l asked for 3 wings and the lady told me she doesn’t sell the chicken like that. I couldn’t get 3 wings. She said, “she usually sell wing, breast, or leg l guess together” but that wasn’t what l wanted. So l asked if l could get 2 wings and she thought about it and sold me 2. I didn’t understand why she want to decide how to sell what parts of chicken together. I guess her store and she decides. Give the person what they want they are paying for it. As l said the food was very good.
