Nice diner in Pendleton. We had the special Philly cheeeeeeese steak! I would have taken a picture of how cheesy mine was but I didn’t put it down! It was very good, and it came with a basket of fries. Our server Trinity was very attentive. This place has an old school vibe and is a great place to stop for lunch. They do take call in orders.

What a great place to eat! We sat at the bar top and had good conversations with the staff and the owner. The cook makes the food on the grill right in front of you so you see it all happen. When he’s not cooking at the grill, he’s cleaning-that’s a person with a good work ethic. Good Eats Diner has only been open a short while, but with this service and food quality, it will have a long and successful future.

I absolutely love the atmosphere and the staff were wonderful. My table had a Mushroom Swiss Burger, the Meatloaf, a side of Mac n’ Cheese, and a Hot Fudge Sunday. The burger was huge with beautifuly melted cheese, served with a side of fries and a pickle. The burger patty itself could use a bit of worcestershire sauce but was generally a good burger. The fries were teetering the line of too salty and perfectly salty but had a nice chrunchy outside and a soft interior. Now the Meatloaf needs a little bit of help. It lacks onions, peppers, ketchup, and maybe some garlic powder. This Meatloaf is served with gravy which confuses me a bit. The Mac n’ Cheese was creamy. The Hot Fudge Sunday was served to me in its to-go form so the presentation was lacking but it was a pretty decent sunday. Now lets talk pricing, I understand that in this economy things are higher but I think Good Eats is a tad bit over priced. A side of Mac n’ Cheese is $3 and is only a few table spoons full. My Sunday was $7 and was, in my opinion, worth $5 max. Other than the lack in taste, I think this restaurant has potential to be really good.

OMG this was a great breakfast. I’m from out of town and came across this place at just the right time. Friendly staff and excellent food. Large portions and made just right. I will be back next time I pass through.

Their portion sizes are GIANT! Great bang for your buck. Food is great and fresh. Pickup is very fast and easy. The place is super cute and definitely has that classic diner feel. We had lunch and got two sandwiches with fries and a pickle. I was pleasantly surprised about their fries. They are almost exactly like McDonald’s fries which are some of the BEST fries but I’d venture to say these are better. (I know it’s hard to believe, just trust me) I’ll review again once we have breakfast but this is a great place to eat to support a local business and get tons of food for a great price. Very friendly service too.

We had a Men’s Group meeting (12 hungry men!) for breakfast at Good Eats Diner, and the owner and staff handled it like champs!

Great locally-owned option for diner-style food. We ordered the cheeseburger and reuben. Food was piping hot and brought out quickly. The owner checked on us and made us feel very welcome. Will be back to try the breakfast menu!

Went the other day and got the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich I asked for no tomatoes and a different cheese alongside Mac n Cheese. The sandwich came out as it said on the menu without my changes. The mac n cheese was cold, not cool, cold, however the bottom of the bowl was hot, telling me it was microwaved. Not to mention how expensive the food was. The Italian sandwich for example is $16. The service was poor, we had to flag down staff who were on their phones and very obviously distracted. I don’t see myself coming back in the future.

Tasteless meatloaf and bland onion soup. Carrot cold was old and dry. Wouldn’t take off bill. Chef walking around the restaurant with hoagie bun…not in the kitchen!

went today with a friend and ordered a grilled cheese on sourdough with baked beans and fries. food other than the grilled cheese were good. despite grilled cheese being one of the simplest things to make they managed to hand me a disaster on a plate. it was drowned in butter and burnt. when we received our sides they were both cold, almost like they were never warmed up. along with the sub-par grilled cheese and cold food, every employee was on there phone. it took us 10-15 mins each time we needed to flag our waitress down. we watched them take probably 20 selfies while we were there. overall pretty garbage service and the pros do not outweigh the cons.
