My wife and I visit Edward, Brian, and the staff frequently. Good Eats is our go-to restaurant, and the experience is fantastic every time. The chef has incredible talent, the ingredients are high quality, and the presentation is impeccable. It is a hidden gem that deserves recognition for its warm and welcoming atmosphere, delicious food, and the chef’s innovative culinary creations. If you’re looking for a restaurant that delivers both in terms of taste and ambiance, look no further than Good Eats.

Great menu, presentation and use of produce with a delightful view of the river. Edward and his team have made an incredible addition to the area. Tried the place for lunch but will be returning again for dinner at some point.

One of the best dinners we’ve had in a long time! Cozy and Warm atmosphere and staff. The owner Edward was extra accommodating and welcoming. From the wine to sticky toffee pudding Everything was delicious. And we were expecting a much larger check for that level of service and dinner! Outstanding and we will be back soon! If there was a way to give even more than 5 stars – we would !

Time and time again we get blown away by the food and drinks here. The owners, chef, bartender and staff are just lovely and make you feel so at home. This is an upscale establishment with a chef that takes the time and passion to prepare amazing dishes day in and day out. Try the Street Fries, Mussels, Brussels Sprouts, Roast Chicken, the Burger. Good Eats = good friends!

First time visit, for a special occasion. There’s a very attractive bar, and the bartender is excellent. I enjoyed the “cocktail #1” which was creative and delicious. The food was great, as was the service. The menu was compact and inviting, and looked as if it would change frequently to suit the chef’s taste. (I dislike menus with too many choices) It wasn’t too busy at the off time that I visited, and the host offered special attention which made the whole visit even more enjoyable. Highly recommend!

Good Eats is a great restaurant with a cozy atmosphere and friendly service. The standout items on the menu, such as the Purple Haze cocktail and unique burger with jam, are absolutely delicious and definitely worth trying.

a truly masterful rendition of your favorite country spot with a modern yet unpretentious spin. proprietors ed & brian instantly welcome you in with a gracious smile and introduce you to a staff that effortlessly guides you through a menu with familiar favorites & a few surprises that are sure to delight. start with a cocktail (penicillin or manhattan), grab a few apps (brussels, wings), and settle into dinner (burger w bacon), leaving room for a little dessert (icebox cake). this is now a regular in the rotation.

Good eats, no Great eats! Amazing appetizers, my favorite was the tomato tart but the street fries were worth the trip. The crusted scallops entree was outstanding and we couldn’t leave without the homemade amaretto spumoni dessert.

As soon as you walk in, you are struck with the welcoming and wonderful ambiance, like being in Edward’s home. Young, yet attentive waitstaff. Food was fresh and inventively prepared. Made for a casual and special birthday evening for us. Definitely on our list to return!
