BBQ sauce had the exact amount if tang! The pork sandwich melted in my mouth. Toast that bun and I’d go there every day! The turkey sandwich on Texas toast was just perfect. Onion rings had the crunch that took your breath away. Lastly, that staff… Sweet & southern charm at its finest. Thanks for showing this MI girl some southern lovin.

The food was good. I went there twice 7-15-23 & both times they forgot my tea. The first time I had to remind the server & the second time I didn’t realize til I got home. They were still friendly with great attitudes.

I am rating my dining in experience. To be clear we’ve never had a bad Togo experience. First off ordering was a pain. The person taking my order did not listen and got the order wrong. Almost no tables were wiped off in the restaurant. Also none were wiped off the entire time we were there. The girl coming and “cleaning” tables just pushed chairs up and holding her phone. She then proceeded to walk straight back to the kitchen and started handling food without washing hands. I had a great opinion of this establishment before tonight. Needless to say it’s not that way now.

Was visiting and was searching for bbq. Husband was disappointed they didn’t serve Brisket but I’m thinking it’s just not popular in this area. But I had the plain smoked wings and they were good enough for us to go back the next day. The ribs were decent. Tried the fried catfish it was OK. The batter was falling off the fish. Was dying for some fried green tomatoes. They were soggy. such a disappointment. The onion rings were just okay.

In town from Birmingham and decided to give this place a try. It was absolutely delicious!!! I had the catfish, fried okra and green beans and my wife had the smoked wings. We also shared a huge order of fries with cheese, bacon and BBQ pork on them. The staff was very friendly and the service was great as well. I would definitely recommend this place. The guy who rang us up said it best when after finding out it was our first time eating there he said “well I promise it won’t be your last. ” Man was he right. Can’t wait to go back.

My first trip to Good Old Boys BBQ was excellent. The staff tackled the long line without breaking a sweat. My food was reasonably priced and of great quality. I can’t wait to go back. I highly recommend the pork fries, pork salad, and corn nuggets. Yumm!
