Our first time here, and luckily we called and made a reservation, the waiting period was supposed to be 30-40 minutes but it took about an hour to get our table, however, it’s worth the wait! This place is amazing! Great atmosphere, friendly staff and super delicious food! We got the Bird and Bread, the chicken was seasoned very well and so juicy, and tender and the French toast was perfect and the maple aioli and honey complemented the dish! We also got the cinnamon French toast, and kid’s pancakes which were delicious! My only complaint is our waitress didn’t get us silverware and was busy so we had to go hunt for some ourselves, and we didn’t get syrup with my kid’s pancakes, that’s why the 4 service star! For our drinks, we ordered Good Screw, liked it, HOWEVER, If you guys love espresso, then you MUST try the Midnight Sun, it’s TO DIE FOR!

The Good Restaurant would see me every week if I lived nearby! We enjoyed our time here, and explored (almost) all of the building. The upstairs an area for lounging and board games and the downstairs is for dining. We went on a Saturday and made reservations ahead of time (recommended) for 5pm when it opened. Our waitress was fantastic! She was friendly, quick and attentive. The food was 10/10 delightful tase. The only part which disappointed us is the food was not as warm as one would expect, it was more of luke warm. The portions for food are smaller, but the ticket wasn’t as much as I thought it would be either so I was delighted with that. I can’t wait to come back and bring more of my family! P.S. the cosmo drink is fantastic. P.S.S if you’re a in a group coming here, please respect the other patrons around you and your noise level.

2nd time here. Sat out back by the kitchen. Best patio. My dad kept saying it reminded him of Italy. Food was spot on. Beautiful presentation. We love Good. And we’ll eat outside there anytime.

I’m happy that Burlington has a place this good. The venue is great, the staff is great and the food is great. The menu is well curated with unique and delicious options. The craft cocktails are a great compliment to the food. It’s not inexpensive by local standards, but worth every penny.

It is the best food in Southeastern Iowa. I try and go every time I’m in town, and take my daughter, or my daughter and my mother. The service is always on point, and the food is excellent. However, My only gripe is that every time I go in I want to order one thing, Beef Wellington, and while it is on the menu, it is never in. This last time, I went twice, the first time I ordered something else, but was assured that on Wednesday, the first day they were open the next week, the Beef Wellington would be available. I set up another reservation, went in, and was disheartened to find that it was once again not in. It’s quite disheartening.

Good is one of my absolute favorite restaurants! The service is phenomenal, the atmosphere is second to none, and I’ve yet to be disappointed by their food or drink menu. Their salmon has become my favorite in the area! I love that they have both inside and outside seating and that there are things to entertain all ages of people.

It’s refreshing to find a gem like this in an odd place. A restaurant like this belongs in a bigger city, but I’m glad to enjoy the amazing experience. The meals were very well done. The drinks could use a bit more practice, but were likely well beyond what you could get locally.
