Cubano – An Authentic Cuban Sandwich
A Cuban sandwich, known as a Cubano, is a grilled ham and cheese sandwich variation that was created in Florida by Cuban immigrants who needed a filling and easy to carry lunch.

Our Cubano has flavorful, juicy pork that has been marinated and slow cooked. We combine this with Swiss Cheese, Ham, Pickles and Mustard on Buttered Bread, that is then grilled.

Each Cubano comes with a side of our very own Habanero Salsa. Our Salsa is HOT!

Literally the best burrito I’ve ever had and I’m extremely picky! I just finished eating it and ran to leave this review, that’s how good it was. I’ve lived in the area my whole life and have never had anything like it. We will be going back very often to try other things on the menu!!!

Yeees, a hidden little gem in Augusta! Only found out about this place from the guys at Water Street Barber Co, and I’m glad I listened. Got the original burrito, used that habanero sauce, and was not disappointed! Definitely give it a try!

Purely excellent food! Had to try burrito, Tacos and chili, all shared with my sister, the burrito was large. Going to have to go back soon and try the Cuban sandwich. Chips and salsa are also very good. Convenient location in downtown Augusta right next to the river. We ate on a picnic table right near the parking lot. Since it is a food truck (trailer), some weekends they can also be found at the Grateful Grain in South Monmouth.

Wow what a delicious and fresh tasting Taco. Thank you Jose, for bringing traditional Latin street food to the river front here in Augusta. So glad I decided to make a pit stop here today on my way heading south. I highly recommend giving it a taste.

Got a tip to check this place out by Marino at Water St. Barber Co., and I was not disappointed. When you hear “food truck”, you think: hot, fresh, tasty food. And this was all that. I got the Chipotle Burrito, and I could hear the meats cooking. The food isn’t just slapped together in a single minute out of pre-cooked ingredients. Its a giant burrito, and one makes a meal. It’s served mild with a habanero sauce on the side – which comes with a justified warning. However, I enjoyed it immensely, but start with it slowly to see if it’s right for you. Staff is very pleasant. Can’t recommend it highly enough.

Unpretentious, fresh, delicious, and reasonably priced. Tucked away by the river this little truck punches way above its weight.
