I come here every once in a while usually on my motorcycle, The restaurant itself is unique and has a cozy atmosphere. The food is always quick and delicious and the staff is always very nice. If you sit in the back outside, you can sit right above the river and listen to the calm water move beneath you while you eat.

Literally our favorite place to eat any time we visit Oak Hill! Food is always delicious best hush puppies too. This is gator with cheese grits and greens. Hubby got shrimp with beans. We’ve tried quite a few dishes and enjoyed every one! (We always order seafood) They do get very busy, so make sure you get there at a decent time. Parking situation isn’t the best.

Great prices and you get a lot of food! We enjoyed the Florida chowder and fish dip. Our cod was a little over cooked so I might skip that next time but the shrimp was great and my family enjoyed the shrimp and grits. The atmosphere is really nice to you can sit outside by the water.

The AUCE Shrimp were very good and you can choose among several different types. They kept them coming without having to wait also. There is a beautiful setting to eat along the river but the wait was long to sit outside. Inside could use some cheering up but let’s be honest I was only there for the food which was hot and delicious

Today was my first visit, recommended by a friend, the food seemed good, I loved the place, but when I was paying the bill my wallet fell into the water, it was quite an awkward moment, especially because of the reaction of the girl who He attended, I know that the incident is not the responsibility of the restaurant but there are ways to say things and above all to want to help, he asks to recover my wallet because I decided to get into the water to go for it. There is a mesh with which they clean the pools that I think could be useful for these cases, I know I must not be the only one who has dropped something in the water, and please make sure that your waiters are friendly. Despite everything, I will return because I loved the place.

Goodrich Seafood & Oyster House is an Oak Hill, FL landmark serving great southern style seafood and sides. Portions are generous and food is well prepared. I always enjoy a nice Po Boy Sandwich with either oysters, shrimp or the combo with scallops. The perfect accompaniment is fried okra and a side of collard greens. The all you can eat specials are popular amongst the locals that frequent Goodrich’s. If you visit during the cooler months it is nice to sit out on the deck and take in the sights and sounds of the Indian River Lagoon. Definitely worth the drive if you are visiting nearby in New Smyrna or Orlando. Always a treat!
