Came with the hubby to get some good food but what we got was peppery and slightly overcooked. We ordered the lamb and chicken with most of the sides on the menu. The waitress however gave us the sides she wanted us to have. The waitress sat us in the smallest corner of the restaurant where I had to squeeze into the booth(literally moved the table to get in) despite there only being 1 party in there. She really didn’t explain anything nor did she seem interested in serving us. They were on their phones and really not paying attention to us at all. Overall it was just too much pepper and the service wasn’t worth it.

I had a fantastic experience at this Ethiopian restaurant. The food was flavorful and authentic, and the portions were generous. I loved the injera bread and the variety of dishes that came with it. The service was fast and friendly, and the atmosphere was cozy and inviting. The restaurant also had a nice selection of drinks and desserts. I highly recommend this place for anyone who wants to try something different and delicious.

Authentic Ethiopian Food, great atmosphere, and location. The food is great and has good vegan options. Only one hostesses/bartendar so be prepared to wait. They were not super busy and this was my first time so hopefully they have the young lady some help on busy days. She was pleasant and attended well to our needs.

Great food served fairly quickly. The portion sizes are amazingly spot on. You leave feeling full but not stuffed. They had many options that were gluten-free and could be made dairy-free, which made eating here that much better.

The food was delicious and my friends and I met the owner and chatted for a bit, learning more about the food and the benefits it has on our body. The staff was nice and the location was an intimate size, which was perfect! I really enjoyed the Ethiopian music that was lightly playing in the background too. I would definitely recommend this place to others.

$15 veggie combo platter! Lovely people working there! Amazing food!! Parking isn’t too shabby. Swanky but not pretentious ambience – would be an awesome place to take a date or a buddy. Really nice atmosphere & drinks, too. This is actually a 4.5 star review, and the half star off is just because the take out containers for hot food are plastic, which is neither healthy nor recyclable nor biodegradable. Eating hot food out of plastic is just never a great idea for basic health & I think waxed paper take-out containers would probably be pretty equivalently priced for their side of things, so no reason not to fix that & offer a healthier take out option.

Sambusa is awesome! It is like samosa but with lentil and other in the filling. For main dish, I enjoyed my beef Awaze tibs. It is like stirred fried beef w/ onion in seasoned spicy sauce. I find injera by itself is a bit too sour for me but having injera together with the food is delicious. I am also a big fan of the beets salad and lentil salad!! The reason I gave 4 star is because of extreme long waiting time.. took a very long time for water, food, utensils…but other than that I had a good exotic food adventure.

Carefully made, rich and boldly spiced but with delicate flavors I have missed at other Ethiopian restaurants. The injera is really nicely sour, too. They have a whole menu of local hard ciders! With the dishes individually served like this, you can share or not depending on how close you feel to the other diners at your table.

Had dinner at Goorsha for the first time with two friends. We came early on a Thursday evening (around 6:30PM) and were seated right away. The waitstaff were kind and helpful. I have a nut allergy, and I was delighted to find that I could eat anything on the menu! The selection of meat and vegan options on the menu was much-appreciated by our group. The food was excellent – spicy! 🙂 I’m already wanting to go back and try another combination for the vegetarian platter.

The restaurant is small inside, but cozy and comfortable. Vegan options are clearly marked on the menu and the food is incredible. Plus clean restrooms and excellent service!
