This restaurant is one of a kind! My friends and I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the service was super helpful and friendly. Go into this place with an open mind as you are taking in meals that are specific to the culture! Understand that the portion sizes are shareable. We had a ton of leftovers due to not knowing this. I think anyone could enjoy this with an open mind and adventurous palate.

We came here for Sunday lunch, and there’s no wait at all. We ordered the assorted intestine pod and two meat dishes for BBQ (cube beef and thick cut pork belly). The food was very delicious, and we two people couldn’t finish the three items. They offered complementary salad, sauce and garlic if you asked for it, and we enjoyed wrapping the meat inside the leaves with garlic. The service was also very good. Their gopchang related dishes are great. One of the best in the area. If you get a gopchang dish that’s not marinated, they come with this special powder which is also good. Also, this is one of the few places that offer beef tartare.

I used to drive to Annandale to get gopchang, so I was soooo excited to try out Gopchang Story closer to my place. The location is much bigger and spacious with cute decorations. They tried to bring Korea to Centreville. However, I was very disappointed, especially by their service.

TLDR: Don’t get the spicy cold noodles and corn cheese. Definitely try out the beef tartare. A cloud beer with everything cuts a lot of the richness.

Really good food and service! Me and my friends were taking selfies and the staff came to offer taking photo for us:) the staff here were all real sweet so very good service! We ordered gopchang, marinated beef rib and fried rice after the gopchang. They all tasted real good! Highly recommended

Assorted intestine gui was enjoyable but the marinated beef entrails was ok. We didn’t like the marinate sauce. While the fried rice was good but it was really heavy. The gui comes with 3 kinds of dipping sauces; salt, spicy and soy based. Simple salt was best and the soy & vinegar (?) was second. It seems to cut for heaviness of gopchang.
