My wife and I had been trying to get food from Gosh for a while but we never make it to Knoxville when they are open. Finally a rode trip through Knoxville aligned with their hours and it was well worth the pit stop! GREAT FOOD! Everything was flavorful, and just downright delicious. The Sambusas were some of the best I have ever had. So crispy. The sauce they came with was next level! Hopefully on our way back home they will be open again!

Everything I’ve tried has been great. Go in with an open mind! Eat it with your hands!! The injera has a very spongey texture but I really enjoyed it. Wish they were open all day everyday.

What a unique and great place to have in Knoxville! Loved everything we ate! I believe the owner came up to our table at one point to ask how everything was and he was so kind. Definitely will be back!!

My first time trying Ethiopian food and it was delicious! I ordered a lamb combo for my girlfriend and I. Very nice atmosphere, I will try the appetizers next time.

We’ve been coming here for years — it was our first Ethiopian restaurant — but now we live only 20 minutes away and will dine here even more!

My favorite restaurant! My husband and I eat here regularly. The food is delicious. I’ve had Ethiopian food in other cities but none compares to the food and service at Gosh Ethiopian! Gosh Ethiopian has the best! I hope they expand their hours and open a 2nd location in Blount County in the future.

This is the only Ethiopian place in town. It started as a hole in the wall, and due to their success they were able to upgrade and redecorate into a cute little place. Be aware there is NO silverware. You use pieces of the same type of bread that forms the “plate” to pick up food and eat with your fingers.

The best all around dinner I have had in pretty much my whole life. I got the hot spiced tea and the Ethiopian coffee, both of which were absolutely amazing. I had the meat sambussa as an appetizer, and it had so much flavor and was so fresh even though the dining room was completely full. The dinner plate for 2 with lamb was so delicious and complex. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone, the food, atmosphere, drinks, service, everything about this place is perfect.
