Gott’s Roadside was founded in 1999 in Saint Helena by brothers Joel and Duncan Gott. Gott’s California-inspired dishes and seasonal specials use locally sourced ingredients and purveyors such as Niman Ranch beef, Zoe’s bacon, Panorama Bakery breads, and Osprey Seafood. Gott’s modern approach to American roadside classics has something for everyone including dishes like the California Burger with a fried egg, Zoe’s bacon, and balsamic onions, Ahi Poke Crispy Tacos with sushi grade Ahi tuna, a Chicken Schnitzel Sandwich with turmeric and harissa mayo, Chicken Kale Caesar, and hand-spun organic shakes.

Tuna tacos and wine were excellent. We also ordered soft serve ice cream and had an issue actually getting it from the counter. We waited a long time for the dessert items , but overall it was a pleasant experience and our family enjoyed dinner outside on the picnic tables.

Amazing fun place! Since we were short on time, I ordered through their website which was very easy. Everything was delicious! The seasonal mushroom soup was particularly amazing! Wish I could have tried the ice cream, but it was cold and rainy outside. Thankfully they had a big covered area to eat under. Bathrooms are good. I would definitely go back often if I lived near there!

Fantastic burger place! They have gluten free buns as well which is great to see an option on menu. We tried their vegetarian California burger and absolutely loved it. They provide you with organic ketchup which is excellent, their mayo is great and hot sauce is amazing. There is plenty of patio seating available to dine in. Expect a wait time as this place runs busy so parking could be tricky coz they have a smaller parking lot but you will find parking around it so not an issue. I’d recommend ordering ahead using their website otherwise you may end up standing in line upon arriving there.

My husband ordered the Parmesan chicken sandwich with fries which he really enjoyed. He thought it needed a little more sauce but overall was pleased. I ate the falafel salad which was vegan. I found it to be fresh & tasty. Great vibe, employees are accommodating and super nice.

My burger was excellent. Wife’s chicken fingers may have been in the oil a little too long. Almost on the edge of burnt and a little dry. Fries were great, decent beer selection and plenty of outdoor seating. There are a few covered long tables with heaters up front if it is cold out. Atmosphere was lively and fun.
