This place is incredible! Fresh baked bread, amazing burgers, cheese steaks that are filled to the brim with meat and the chicken sandwich might somehow be my favorite thing on their menu. Grab some take out and pair it perfectly with some Kings Road beer or check out their other amazing sandwich joint, Crumb! Be sure to check their social media since they’re always on top of their game letting you know specials, when their sold out or closed!

The cheesesteak I had was absolutely phenomenal. Amazing that they can make a local staple stand out in a crowded field, but they did – apparently the Cooper sharp cheddar made all the difference. It’s worked in with the meat in a unique way that makes it a rich, creamy, cheesy, delicious – and very memorable meal. Along with the owner/chef’s other joint in town, Crumb, this will become a weekly stop for me and the Foley Prep tutoring crew right up the street 🙂

Wanted to like this place, didn’t know they used yellow American cheese on their cheeseburgers and cheesesteaks. Also the onion rings were burned. Very dark and chewy. No salt on the fries. The cheesesteak looked so good and I was wanting to like it but at the end of the day it just tasted bland to me. The cheeseburger was delicious though!

I have followed Chef Dave from his restaurant Denim days, to the fantastic sandwich shop Crumb… everything he does, he does it with quality and passion. And everything has turned to Gouldsburgers! LoL. Another fantastic spot for high quality comfort foods…burgers, dogs, onion rings, fried pickles, chicken sandwiches, ice cream floats, and top it all off with some creamy slaw! The spicy chicken was crispy and perfectly spiced. Not too hot but had kick. The freshly beer battered onion rings were wonderful. The burger was cooked to perfection and all the toppings delicious. I build my own – lettuce, caramelized onions, sharp cheddar, bacon, fried egg, ketchup and mayo – delicious. Definitely try it out!

We were walking by and the smell was absolutely amazing. Checking out the menu from outside, the fact things were organic, or grass fed, or listed as all natural and I loved the fact that they use Pomace Oil, was so excited for healthy alternatives. Everyone was SUPER nice and friendly it made me even more excited. My husband ordered the chicken sandwich (we never had the G1 sauce before, so we got it on the side just in case. I ordered the Forager Burger (and have been obsessed with roasted tomatoes lately so I added that on). We were going to share the Truffle Fries. The only thing that was odd to me was on the menu it says Truffle Aioli under the description of the fries (she charged me $1 extra for it… don’t put it in the description if it doesn’t come with it). The chicken sandwich was 3-4 tenders on a house made bun. When he took the buns out, they were golden and beautiful, but eating it was actually pretty doughy, which was a little sad. The tenders had more of a flour taste then flavor and the chicken inside was a tad bit dry. My burger was actually pretty good, just again, lacking on seasoning/flavor. I guess I might be a little biased on that because I know there’s a lot of people out there that “let the meat speak for itself”, but for me, I love flavor in my meat. When we make roasted tomatoes at home, we season them, these were plain cooked. The flavor of the Cooper sharp cheese, the caramelized onions, and fully cooked mushrooms (thank goodness, other places sometimes just barely cook them, I love them soft) brought the burger up more to sort of try and bring everything together. The other thing was the burger was so juicy, the toasted white bread had so much butter on it kinda made it a little more greasy than expected, but hey, it’s a burger. The fries were a little oily, but had a bunch of cheese crumbles on it, so they were nice, but again, me being biased, I like thick cut fries that are soft in the middle, light crunch on the outside – so don’t take my word on those. It was nice to dip them in the Truffle aioli because the sweetness of it helped with the oil/cheese combination. I felt bad not fully enjoying it, because the man looks like he loves it and puts his all into it, which is what I expect the cook (maybe Owner?) to do. The girl at the front counter was super pleasant and wonderful as well. I’d love to come back and try the cheesesteak because it LOOKS amazing! But I’m worried that it might not be seasoned as much as well.

After years of not having a good burger joint, Haddonfield finally has one! Great burger with a wonderful beefy taste, great crispy chicken sandwich, AMAZING fried pickles. Honestly not much else someone who has been living in the area for his entire life (34 years) can ask for!

Oh My Gawd! if you’re not getting your burgers from here, you’re missing out. The best burgers my family has had in forever! Fresh, moist & delicious. The place is clean and they even wear gloves to prepare food. I think they make the buns fresh and nothing is packaged. This places kills it and we are so happy we found you. if anyone has anything to say, other than “this place is the best” come talk to me & my family, we were blown away and they have customers for life. Thank you SO much!!! I wish I knew how to post a photo because my burger looked like it was in a good magazine. Unreal!

The burgers are fantastic. I really appreciate how the bun doesn’t get soggy despite the burger being juicy, although maybe it’s because I inhale these things.. Hot dogs and fries are also very much worth highlighting and leave you wanting more after they’re gone. Truly good food done right.

I wanted a vegan burger and was very happy that they offer that alternative – a “beet” burger. I ordered it with the “Gould Standard”. The toppings and bun were delicious, but the beet burger was mushy. I’ve had plenty of veggie burgers but this was the first that was complete mush and not an enjoyable experience to eat. The flavor was OK, it was just the texture. I wonder if it was undercooked because the beet burger in the photo gallery does not look like mine. I would not order it again unless I learn it was not cooked properly.

First let me say, that this place is overly expensive. Two burgers (the only extras we got on ours was cheese on each), one order of fries, one order of onion rings and two bottles of soda is over $50. A family of four to come there and spend over $100 for burgers, fries and some drinks is outrageous.
