Overall the place was okay. The chairs are uncomfortable and it’s kind of loud inside. The wings were pretty good, but definitely not the best. The Tuscan burger was really good. My wife built her own and it came out cold along with both our onion straws. The garlic fries were also pretty disappointing since there was barely any garlicky taste to them and they were just covered in parmasean. I would come back to try a different burger, just wouldn’t order any special fries this time.

Waited ~30 minutes for a bison burger w brisket and Mac and cheese. My burger was really good – I’d go back for the burger again, but the Mac and cheese was worse than boxed Kraft Mac and cheese. It felt like someone boiled elbow pasta and then sprinkled the essence of cheese over it. If you look at the picture, it’s the 3 cheese pasta, but it tasted more like a 0 cheese pasta.

The chicken burger was very good as was the beefburger but the wait for a table was too long due to their ambiguous text messaging system. I gave my name and was told it would be a 10 minute wait for a table. Waited at least 20 minutes, then received a text which said “You have reached the front of the waitlist at Gourmet Burger Bistro, please head over to the restaurant!” (We had never left the restaurant). We figured we were next so we waited an additional 10 minutes near the hostess but were still not called so finally asked the hostess how much longer it would be and she said she had plenty of tables! Good food but bad system with poor communication!

I’m going to be kind on this review, this was my second time here and after a few years and hearing good things, I decided to go give it a try again. staff is very young and inexperienced but pleasant , you can’t fault them, they’re kids but the management and owners are the problem. Burgers are $15, you have to order fries separately at $6. You place your order , wait more than 35 minutes for it to hit your table and it’s just “ok” not great , not even good, just OK. $60 for two, burger, fries , drinks, tip SMH . If you want a great burger in Port Jeff , skip this one, go across to Tommy’s or down the street to to Port Bistro… both great.

The cocktails were delicious! The service was phenomenal! The burger was the most flavorless greasy overcooked pathetic thing I’ve ever had served to me in my life. A completely burnt burger has a more complex flavor profile. It’s a culinary miracle they made something so bland

A GOOD JUICY BURGER AND ALOT OF ONIONS ! Okay so I go out with the Boys and thought we go to a restaurant in this part of town but not sure where. So we saw this place and decided this place looks good and worth the waitlist for like 35 minutes. First BITE and juices came out of the burger. Also I noticed that this place uses a lot of onions for their flavor. Their cut potatoes had onions in the basket. The standard side for a burger is onion strings!!

The wait staff was attentive, courteous and friendly. However the food was nothing to rave about and took a little too long for what we ordered. My blue cheese stuffed steak burger was decent enough but the buns were nasty, cold, dense and with out flavor. One my wife’s burger she order the one with garlic aoli sauce pretty much the same thing and there was only a drop of sauce in the middle or a tasteless burger. My wife had gone there weeks prior with a few of the ladies and raved about it but when we went back to taste how good it was we were very disappointed.
