Staff very friendly and helpful. The food is slightly pricey but wonderful. I definitely look forward to being a regular at this place. Also the decor is really cool! Really love their food. I was told they do not deliver but are absolutely available for door dash. Check them out you wont be sorry.

Ordered my food was ready very quickly. Got it home to eat it and the crab ragoon was very good. Ordered the General Tso chicken, was not impressed. The sause tasted fishy like they fried the chicken in oil used for fish and the sauce was very bland and not hot at all. The fried rice that came with the meal was just basic fried rice. Will not be going back except for maybe the crab ragoon.

Sorry to leave this review, but so disappointed! Been a loyal regular for literally 13+ years and it hurts to see how far the quality has dropped. On top of that, recently prices have undergone an extreme increase. Was hoping the last two visits were a fluke but tonight sealed the deal. Canned peas and carrots thrown in with tofu is not worth $9.65. Sad to say we will not be wasting our time or money on this restaurant anymore.

Authentic Chinese in a pleasant setting. The best thing is that you get plenty of food for the money. There’s always something left to take home. I recommend The Gourmet House as a nice, quick place to sit down and have a very satisfying meal.

Old style type of Chinese restaurant. Good food and consistent. That’s all I really ask for most of the time. Best hot and sour soup in region. No really, I ain’t lying. Wonton soup is very good too.

My friend and I have been going here for years. We always order the same thing: she gets hot & sour soup with egg roll and sweet & sour pork and I get the egg drop soup with egg roll and sweet & sour chicken. We have our favorite booth, service and food are great, price is reasonable ( we’re retirees) and we always take home a portion of our meal for the next day. We’re planning to celebrate Chinese New Year on Sunday (weather and health agreeing).
