They catered my sister’s graduation dinner and when I tell you I devoured everything like it was my last meal, went for seconds and took home a plate. Woowee, it was really good. They really put a lot of love into the food and the setup. The greens were seasoned to perfection, the fish, the muffins… everything. This is soul food, you know because my soul was fed.

The mac & cheese, candy yams, and fish were really good! Greens were fine but needed a little salt. The chicken needed more seasoning and breading. I got my food to-go and drove 4 mins away to union station and when I parked to eat, my fries are extremely soggy, undercooked, and lacked seasoning.

I have been eating food from here since they’ve opened! I’ve actually never dined inside so I have no idea how the customer service is but I have nothing bad to say about this food. Definitely the BEST Soul food in St. Louis and so happy their still around! Not everyone can make collard greens but they can! The portions are so delicious! And the freshly squeezed watermelon lemonade is also super delicious! I love eating here highly recommend if you’re ever in or love in St. Louis- Happy Thanksgiving

Beautifully decorated space. My order was to go through doordash. After some initial wait and confusion (next time, offer a water and a seat while it’s worked out), I took my order home to reheat it. Everything was wonderful. No complaints at all. We had the baked chicken and pork chops with dressing (please include a side of gravy), greens, macaroni, yams and peach cobbler. I’m looking forward to visiting for an in-person experience. My parents who complain about everything absolutely loved their plates.

☆BEFORE U CONTINUE, MAKE SURE YOU ASK QUESTIONS WHEN YOU GIVE YOUR ORDER☆ The hubby has been trying to get here for a while, but because of covid they weren’t offering the DINE-IN option(then I called this morning and the good news was given ). The graffiti on the building really caught me with the eye-popping colors. The decor was a lil more “boughetto” than I thought, but it set the ambiance as old-skool R&B videos played on the TV. There was a sign that read “WELCOME PLEASE STOP HERE” and I cased the place to attempt finding a host bc there were 2tables occupied and one guest at the bar speaking to a lady. We stood there for about 8-10mins and the bartender, who is also the host apparently called us over to the bar to ask if we wanted to dine in ♀️. We were seated at a table of our choice and looked at the menu(which I had questions frfr)…ok, sooo what’s pictured is it- there’s a bar, but no drink menu: SOFT DRINKS were limited and liquor wise, it’s only cocktails-no mixed drinks or prices(bill said $6.79/ea) and no water is given without asking. I went with the burger(which only shows bacon or cheese can be added to the 2patties, but doesn’t list anything else)and asked if grilled onions were available or if cheese(besides american)was available-i was told no….then my burger came out with EVERYTHING on it(not GRILLED ONION )-too hungry, I smashed it and errthang was all asl !! From the burger to Mac n cheese(drinks were strong too), I’m hooked and that’s exactly why they get a SRONG 3.75stars for me…I gotta go back to try the sweet potatoes
