So good and fresh! Working nearby and finally ordered. WOW!! BEST MAPO TOFU! Very authentic tasting! We had the MT, the Salt and Pepper Squid (sooo good!!), the lunch special – Shrimp with Lobster sauce (yummmmmm!) Everything is so delicious I will be stopping there to pick up dinner on way home!

This is also part of my Chinese takeout rotation when I don’t feel like making dinner. I really like their Kung pow dinner special because the portions are so big I usually get some for lunch the next day. They are consistent and food is hot… It is a hole in the wall so expect that hole in the wall experience.

I love this restaurant. I order food from there often. I even ordered wrong one day and they fixed it for me. I highly recommend this restaurant. They treat their customers with respect. The food is always fresh and yummy. Their prices are great.

First time here yesterday. The Orange Chicken was CRUNCHY, CHEWY and STALE. It was was not edible. This is my first time ever experiencing orange chicken like this and I’ve been to many Chinese places. The Mongolian Beef was so tough and hard. Unbelievable. I also have never experienced that because usually beef in Chinese places is very tender but not at GOURMET WOK. I called him and he told me the next time I come they would give me a discount I told him I will not be returning. I wasted $24 at this place for TRASH. Under no circumstances come to this place it’s horrible.

I am so disappointed in the quality of food I got last night, I liked this place last time I had it. I think the chef may have been different tonight but the chicken was not good, some pieces crunchy and some pieces not cooked enough. The sugar biscuits weren’t fresh and neither was the lo mein. I was so sad I spent almost $20 here. The people are sweet and nice but the food is hit or miss.

They allowed me to order Kung Pao beef for lunch. It was very good. Fresh vegetables. It wasn’t fillet mignon but the meat was decent and just the right amount. It was served straight out of the wok and blazing hot. (that’s a good thing) One order was less than $10 and was easily enough for two! You can get it delivered through GRUBHUB. One drawback is they don’t run the a/c. Still definitely worth a try.

I usually ordered combination fried rice with plain chicken wings at Goumet wok. They got it right the first time I ordered (because the younger guy who’s probably the owner’s son prepared it). On my subsequent attempts to order, the owner would prepare rice with low spice level and chicken wings that’s mixed in flour. The owner did this three times. The next time I went, I decided to take plain chicken wings from wingstop with me, so I can show them what I wanted. The two daughters and his wife were there with him when I showed it to them. He apologized and told me he completely understood. But upon ordering, he did the same thing by giving me flour-filled chicken wings. At this point, I knew he was probably doing it on purpose or just didn’t care. It’s sad that such a business operates in this community and they only want to cater to people they prefer or just want to make the kind of food that they are comfortable making even if they claim that it’s available on their menu.

The reviews are all CORRECT! I searched online earlier today for a Chinese restaurant, and was happy I chose this one. I ordered the Vegetable Lo Mein, Salt and Pepper Squid, and Eggrolls. Everything is flavored and cooked to perfection! The owner was so nice; he threw in Crab Rangoon as well. This is definitely a family owned and operated restaurant, and they deserve support!

My go to Chinese takeout was China One but this place is for sure my new favorite. The egg rolls are definitely the best I’ve ever had, House lo mein is delicious and the rice is moist and flavorful! 10/10 reccomend.
