The food was great. I ordered for myself and husband. The young lady who assisted me with my order was “WONDERFUL, FRIENDLY and a JOY to speak with. I purchased the rib dinner (4 ribs, collard greens and mac-n-chese) and chicken dinner (can’t remember the pieces, greenbeans and potato salad). I also purchased a chocolate cake which I did not receive. I will definitely be coming back for more.

There is a new ribs joint in town on Gresham Road. This is a dine in, take out, call in sit down and eat restaurant. Very casual place. Friendly service, prices are reasonable. I purchased a slice of cake for 3.75$ and rib plate was enough for two. Plentiful. Amble parking in rear. Covid_ consciousness. I appreciated that. I did however have a lengthy wait for order, but did not mine because we sat ouside and soaked up the sunshine. I was also disappointed that they don’t offer baby back ribs. Nonetheless, I will return for a second round of the menu. Very glad to see BO business in the neighborhood. Go out and support.

That place was so hot, no AC. THE RIBS AND TIPS WAS SO TOUCH MY DOG DIDN’T EAT IT. Don’t waste your money going there. I really wanted to support black owned business. But they have to do better, if they want folks to support their business. If I need BB QUE again it won’t be at this place. Baked beans and cornbread was the only thing was edible.

Long, but worth it for a true review. I’d been wanting to try GQs on Gresham for sometime. I’d been their customer when they were located on Metropolitan so I was excited to see if the flavor I remembered had followed them to the Eastside. A few months after the location opened I walked in and sadly my excitement was dimmed by the counter person who explained that ribs were not available for the next hour. A rib place, sold out of ribs at the start of lunch? But que se ra se ra. I chose to dine elsewhere that day. Another month or so went by and while planning a family gathering I was reminded that GQs offered a large family meal for less than $50 so I decided to try again. I entered the establishment an hour after opening and placed my order. I sat down in the waiting area and 15 minutes later was called up to the counter. The cashier explained that they were, you guessed it, out of ribs once again. She said they would be ready in 45 minutes. Knowing that my family was already waiting on dinner I opted to dine elsewhere once again. I figured it was just my dumb luck so I decided to try once again. Third time is a charm after all. However, this time I called the order in. I placed the order at 5:04 PM. I told the order taker I would arrive in 20 to 30 minutes. I arrived at 5:38 PM and guess what, there were no ribs! The cashier explained that they don’t hold orders since people call in orders and never show. 4 minutes past my quoted arrival time and my $50+ order had been given to another customer. The cashier said more ribs would be ready in 30 to 45 minutes. I had children to tend to so I let the cashier know either myself or my significant other would return. Approximately 30 minutes later I returned and the cashier looked at me in shock. She said, “I thought you were so mad you weren’t coming back!” I explained that although frustrated I never said I wasn’t coming back. Unfortunately, my order had been thrown away. I hope that she meant the written order and not the $50 worth of food. So I decided to be forgiving and try the food once a for all so I placed my order albeit less than that of the amount of my original order and waited 15 minutes. Now after what seems like quite the quandary of missed opportunities I was finally going to have the chance to try GQs on Gresham.

Just had 1st order from GQ’S. Disappointed is not enough to describe, the rib tips were tough as shoe leather must of been left over from the week they were closed, baked beans and greens were flavorless, just out of a can. Based on the reviews, I was really looking forward to this meal. I am sorry but that $32.00 I spent went in the trash. Won’t be returning.

Inconsistent! Went there Friday and everything was excellent. So much so, we wanted more Sunday! Just awful! As evident by the attached photos. They should be ashamed of serving food of this caliber! Any cook can make a mistake, but when they saw they burned the ribs like this they should’ve trashed them! No excuse for a restaurant to sell food like this! My dog didn’t even eat it! I’ll give them another chance but it’s not gonna be too many more times that they take my money like this!

Deserves all of their 5 stars. Sooooo good meat is nice and tender and the sides we had (mac&cheese, potato salad and baked beans) were soo hood definitely worth time and money for good price.

GQ’s Bar B Que was fantastic. My fiance and I were looking for something local and decided to try this place. The food was excellent and the staff was kind. I had the Pittsburg Plate “After Lunch” and my fiance had the pulled pork sandwich. Both were the best we’ve had in a while. We will definitely be visiting again!

Microwave food ! Came in on a Sunday 1st and last time coming here! Ordered chicken and rib combo sauce on the side ! Didn’t do that right! But they remade it! As I’m waiting i here the microwave open and close ! They warmed my chicken and ribs up to the point it was close to burning the styrofoam! Terrible terrible no flavor on chicken or ribs! Not to mention who wants microwave bbq! Sad I wish I got a refund when I heard the microwave! Ribs were overcooked as well
