We had an awesome brunch at Gracie’s. The hotel feeling was mellow and a great start for our day. It’s not always easy to find good spots for mid-week brunch, so this was perfect. The food was exactly as it should be. The radicchio salad is different in a good way. Service was perfect, knowledgeable and timely. Will def come back. We were a few bites in when we took the salad pic

Food was unbelievably average for what I thought would have been an amazing breakfast. Had the eggs benedict. The house made English muffin was very dry and difficult to eat. Not sure why anyone would select this pairing of potatoes with this breakfast plate. Staff were very tired and seemed difficult to kick things into gear. Not what I expected for top reviews as one of the best places in Portland to get breakfast.

Our waitress was superb. The food was delicious and the atmosphere great. Would go back again. Celebrated a friend’s birthday there. We brought our own cake and was informed that there was a $30 fee to have it served there which was a bit ridiculous, but other than that – a great place.

First visit to the Hotel Deluxe in Portland, Oregon, which gave us the chance to eat at Gracie’s. This is the on-premises restaurant for the hotel, serving Breakfast/Brunch until 2 pm, with no dinner service. We had a party of 3 for a late morning breakfast and were seated right away.

The food strikes a note between nostalgic and trendy, the location with old world opulence and low key informality, Gracie’s makes a welcome change from typical porty places. Places where people, afraid to not conform, stand in line for an hour for sceabbled eggs that they then give five stars to if they didn’t need to be rushed to an ER for a stomach pump. I had the lobster Benedict with blueberry muffin. The muffin – a crisp outside, fluffy inside, and just the right crumble on top. Lobster was nicely done, eggs perfectly runny, sauce well balanced. Coffee was a bit bitter, service a bit unpolished but genuinely nice. It should be mentioned there’s public parking in a garage across the street as this is in a somewhat congested part of downtown.

Gracie’s is a special spot in Portland! A friend/colleague and I try to do working breakfasts here whenever possible because it’s comfy and elevated. Everyone there is lovely — especially Hannah who is server extraordinaire. She sets a wonderfully welcome vibe, is conscientious in her service and offers great recommendations. Get their eggs Benedict, the potatoes that come on the side are also insanely good. Also – they have free parking in the lot across from the hotel entry.
