Driven by here several times. The hotel I was staying at recommended this place. I was seated right away by a man behind the counter. A server brought me coleslaw and took my drink order. I asked for an Arnold Palmer. It wasn’t very good. But things improved from there. I ordered pinto beans, the medium order of cat fish, and hush puppies. The hush puppies were amazing. Maybe the best I’ve ever had. The fish came out piping hot, and it too was very good. The coleslaw was good, and the server brought me as much of that as I wanted. This is a real mom and pop restaurant. Great local feel. Please visit them. You’ll be glad you did.

Ordered at their food truck today – lovely woman taking orders! My catfish and shrimp was good, hot and made to order – yum! The chicken tenders were great, best chicken my five year old has ever eaten. I wanted to steal them from him. HUSH PUPPIES!!! Like cornbread balls, they are amazing!!! Only thing I disliked, French fries. Wayyyy too soggy and oily. I took them home, seasoned them and threw them in the air fryer. Possibly just from them working hard in the truck. I can’t wait to try their restaurant!

I had never been to Grandpas until Saturday night. The place and a very comfortable “home” like feeling. Very welcoming. Our waiter was quick and friendly. He was so polite and our food was perfect. Every. Single. Bite.

Grandpa’s has had several locations over the years, and this one is par for the course. If you like fried catfish you will enjoy this place. If you don’t like fried things, you probably won’t find a lot of love here.

Sunday evening April 3, 2022 my wife and I went to Grampa’s Catfish House and got the catfish and shrimp platter and true the what I’d heard, that’s the best catfish I’d ever eaten and the hush puppies would melt in your mouth! It’s a must try!

Not near the place it once was. Food was decent. Pricy for what you get. We went for lunch and it took 40 minutes to get food. Ordered fish and chicken they brought fish and shrimp. Took a bit out of the fish as I figured they would just bring out the chicken….they took the whole plate of food and let me sit there for another 5 minutes or longer then bought out the same plate with shrimp gone and Chicken added…….
