We’ve been back a few times for the Tuesday night date special (bottle of wine, appetizer, pizza, and dessert for $60). Specials aside, the food is tasty and the wine selection is great! The atmosphere and staff are warm and friendly. A quick new favorite of ours as we’re new to Madison!

I feel bad it took me so long to write a review, but my husband and I had an incredible experience at Grandpa’s Pizzeria for our anniversary! It happened to fall on a Tuesday, so we were able to take advantage of their date night special. You get to share an appetizer/salad, pizza, dessert, AND a bottle of wine. It’s a great value and a wonderful option for us first-timers that wanted to experience a range of options. Everything was delicious, but the Goomba pie (mushroom) and the chocolate mousse were definitely the stand-outs. The ambiance of the small place is also cozy and cute, perfect for a chilly winter evening.

Small quaint restaurant with great vegetarian choices. The beet salad is amazing! Pair it with a cheese board and the Goomba pizza and you won’t be disappointed. If you have to wait for a table, the specialty cocktail business next door is handy. Both of these businesses operate out of houses, which makes the experience fun and unique.

Food was great! Recommend carry out or something because service was not the greatest, server would ask a question and instead of waiting for us to answer she would just say I will be right back and will not be back for 20 – 30 minutes it was a relatively slow evening with lost of staff and lots of empty tables it was just two of us that she was serving and her timing and responses were not the greatest.

Went here for a special date night recently and was blown away by the service and food! We had the cheese board which was pleasant, went for two pizzas which we ate so fast I couldn’t take a picture, and finished with the sticky ginger cake.

met my friend here at Grampas before a show at Gibs. AMAZING. it smells amazing!! i got the roasted vegetabes, they were really good. but the dessert!! Sticky Ginger cake is very very amazing. it was enough for more than one person. the Boylan birch beer (non alcoholic) tasted like rootbeer. My server was super nice, gracious in my wait for my friend.,

Has been named the BEST PIZZA IN WI. I can see why now! The place is quaint. A little funky, warm with great ambience and music. Decent drink list and a few local beers. But the Pizza, wow the pizza is phenomenal. We had 3 different pizzas incl the cheese pizza for the kids- each one was excellent. Think crust is very authentic Italian style thin crust. Also the mushroom pate is excellent. Can’t go wrong with Grampa’s pizza.
